Investing on Hive (Sidechains) Post 8: New Format!

Hive Engine (Hive Sidechain) Investments

I'm going to change the format here on my posts since I will be posting returns on investment (ROI) and it's going to get a bit lengthy! For returns, I will post each amount summed up to the day it was sent so that it remains as organized of information as possible. I think using tables here will be the best route so let's see how it all looks!

EPC

Epic Token1
Invested
40,000 EPC0.00012 Hive/Ea
ROIReturnsToDate
1: 0.018 Hive2: 0.002 Hive3: 0.045 Hive4: 0.002 Hive
5: 0.002 Hive6: 0.013 Hive

image.png

Payment 7 hit and it's decent! :P 0.007 Hive and one step further on ROI!

This time around, the charts will do most of the talking on invested amounts and such. I find this is much easier to read than the prior format!

SIM

dCity Token2
Invested
4,000 SIM -->0.000408 Hive/Ea6,000 SIM -->0.000512 Hive/Ea
ROIReturnsToDate

image.png

I've spent my SIM to buy cards of various sorts and am working on building an income in different ways. After looking more deeply into how it all works and the different hive-engine tokens linked to various games and ideas, I decided to go for "cards" that gave things like BEER or CCC or WEED or something that has retained reasonable value over time and has an operating user base. We'll see how that strategy goes and I might dump more of future earnings into SIM to try to work the holding value back up and get some of the daily Hive payouts. :P

LEO

LEO Token3
Invested
40 LEO -->0.173 Hive/Ea20 LEO -->0.172 Hive/Ea
ROIReturnsToDate
1: 0.025 LEO2: 1.477 LEO

image.png

LEO has moved up the list substantially, as investing is the main topic of what I intend to write about in future posts. I may find a different niche I like, but investing and financial strategy is always going to be my heart and soul when it comes to Crypto as a whole. :) LEO is beginning to pay out rewards for voting activities I've performed as well as for posting of my own and others voting it. I'm happy already with the returns because it really wouldn't necessarily have taken any initial investment to earn LEO in decent amounts, as long as you are staying on the topic of investing or some financial based theme, but I decided to put up some of my own capital. Why? Not only do I want to earn from posting here, I also want to be able to assign wealth and reward where I see fit or where it can benefit someone who needs it. It goes without saying that in investing and earning money that it's just as enjoyable to spend it and give it away, as it is to earn it and receive it for your actions. :)

All of that being said: I've put another 20 LEO into my funds and staked it so that it's power can get to some good use!

NEOXAG

Neoxian City Token4
Invested
2,000 NEOXAG -->0.00096 Hive/Ea2,000 NEOXAG -->0.00092 Hive/Ea
ROIReturnsToDate
1: 11.88 NEOXAG2: 11.88 NEOXAG3: 0.026 NEOXAG4: 1.1 NEOXAG

image.png

NEOXAG or Neoxian, has moved up the list quite a bit too. I looked into it a bit more and it has an incredible vibe for me honestly. I like the idea behind it, the stories that go with it, the game and all of it. It's quite interesting! On top of that, it seems that shortly after staking and then voting on content on Hive, I have already earned waves of curation rewards! The 3rd and 4th payments, in fact, were mostly curation and not posting! I'm liking this one a lot. :)

Adding up the daily earnings is going to be a bit of a bitch though, considering this is how it looked when I went to go calculate the returns for this post. Ouch. I'm gonna have to find a more solid way of calculating this haha. :P

image.png

WAIV

Waivio Token5
Invested
20 WAIV -->0.14 Hive/Ea20 WAIV -->0.138 Hive/Ea
ROIReturnsToDate
1: 0.46 WAIV

image.png

WAIV or Waivio has moved up the list as well! Due to it's pretty high value and user base, as well as the activity along with it mean to me, it's a solid investment to make and participate in. Returns have already begun to come in from curation heavily as well such as the case of NEOXAG, so it was a bit of a task to sum them all up as in that case. I still managed! Lol!

SPT & ONEUP

SplinterlandsOneUp ---- 6
Invested
200 SPT -->0.00235 Hive/Ea
200 ONEUP -->0.0056 Hive/Ea
ROI ReturnsTo Date
SPTONEUP
1: 1.49 SPT1: 0.24 ONEUP -- 2: 0.072 ONEUP
image.pngimage.png

These two moved up and are put together because one is about gaming, the other is a game! Splinterlands is arguably (No argument really, it simply IS!) the most popular Hive game around! Knowing this meant I knew it was a good investment from the jump. A token about gaming and a token for a game. Match made in heaven! Returns are already coming in decently from mostly curation. (Love the curation <3) Gaming is definitely something I put stock in so votes definitely head towards those posts!

Other

Other notable investments7
Invested
1,000 DEC0.00182 Hive/Ea
ITD: 4 SPS0.139 Hive/Ea
1,000 CCC0.00111 Hive/Ea
100 CTP0.0237 Hive/Ea
20 STEM0.03 Hive/Ea

These are all great investments with a low barrier to entry that you can have fun with and experiment on how "Tokenomics" works and what returns you can expect to see numerically, across the board based on different code settings and configurations! They've also consistently had volume of trade, even if the volume is low. The low price points and ability to begin staking/trading with minimal capital, make them IMO a great starter investment for someone not looking to drop the cost needed to begin with SIM or LEO or some of the other high-entry-cost tokens.

DEC and SPS moved down a bit to here, because they have direct functionality, but I'm looking at them as HODL tokens, not a "worked at" ROI over time type deal. SPT is the token for Splinterlands that I'm more into, as it is part of SplinterTalk and has it's own community built around that and Hive.

SWAP.LTC was removed because I probably won't be using the pegs anymore beyond the Hive peg that is the native one for Hive-Engine and Hive as a whole. I may speak about it again if I make moves with it, as with BTC and other crypto, but I want this to be focused mostly on Hive-Engine and what potential lies there.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to share opinions of your own and discuss the topic in the comments! :) Always open to new ideas/investments.

Did you know manual curation of second layer tokens may not give you as high return as The Cartel can?

You can delegate currently 19 tribe tokens to The Cartel while helping the community. Try once and enjoy juicy returns. :)

I took back my Curation please remove oneup tag it's for play2earn only. Splinterlands and spt is for splinterlands only.

When you remove those tags let me know. I will throw my dice again.

Using wrong tags can send your post to wrong audience and they can DV u or tribe mute in worse case. Better to stay safe then sorry.

Why would I remove the tags of something I talk about that's contained in my post? This needs to reach the ppl who play Splinterlands and Play2Earn games just as much if not more than others because they are specifically spoken about in these posts. What are you talking about? Should I buy some more cards and post about them?... Play some matches and post about them?... Post about the already ongoing gaming I do in other ways? I don't think I've included the tags improperly, considering that I am speaking about those tokens and their communities directly and promoting the flow of users towards their growth... By your spammy looking last post about "The Cartel," it seems like you're already doing what you're saying not to, post where no one asked you to. It also looks like an ad, which looks spammy. The thing is, I'm not gonna bitch about you posting that on here and if I came across it while looking at gaming content or something, I wouldn't bitch about it "not being in place" either if your "Cartel" had tokens staked and was voting and supporting said place. If someone seriously has some issues with me putting the tags I am, then that is their business. I'm simply writing about what I specifically enjoy and tagging it with what pertains to it. I see no fault in the tagging so I'm not sure why you do. There is no set rule on posting relevancy but from what I've seen the only thing truly out of place would be if I were to tag a whole post about gaming with something having to do with art or drawing or vice versa. People painting probably shouldn't put their painting videos in a tag that's meant for gaming... and people playing Halo shouldn't tag their posts with "Art" either. I, however, am investing in and talking about (Even if I'm not talking about my playing of them...) gaming and specifically, Splinterland related subjects. I'm speaking about their correlation to hive, how they add value to it, what value can be seen from it, and why I think they're good options for investing in whether that's time, money, or energy. I'm explaining to anyone who might just happen to not know they exist and that you can earn from gaming, that they do exist! :) In that, they might see that the tags include SPT or ONEUP, and then realize that by looking at that tag, they can go find a plethora of posts by authors they're likely to enjoy. Part of the idea of tags is discovery, you have to remember. It's about organization and classification and some things simply fit into multiple categories in life. I get your perspective, but again, I don't see this as being mislabeled so unless a representative of substantial rank from one of these communities comes and tells me I'm wrong and can logically represent that to me... I think I've tagged them just fine.

Maybe you are right to a degree though. Maybe I should post about my gaming as well, even if minimal. In an age where people are hungry to consume content, games are fun, games are relaxation, games are joy. :) It seems that sometimes people are quick to judge a post or author and then hold a grudge of some sort too, so maybe I will include them in future posts if I continue to see people unhappy with my tagging. I don't intend to offend anyone here, I hope you truly do understand. :P I just think this beautiful place has a lot to offer and to touch on it all, diversification is required and sometimes that means opening your mind and diversifying what your thoughts and ideas about a topic can be.

@dlmmqb
I appreciate input of any sort though and other than promotion of The Cartel... I truly think you were just looking out and trying to avoid me being sought out for doing what might be considered wrong socially and reaping repercussions for it. Sorry if I came off rude in any way, I was making a point but sometimes it can come off a bit bite-y. Whether I agree with you or not, it is something to consider and I do appreciate your engagement, as it seems real and genuine, not cold and copy pasted like a bot. :)

@hiveinvest

your post is of financial nature.

Oneup is for gaming and NFTs post only in which you actually talk about game, how to play, or playing.... Anything that's actually about game.

Spt tag is for splinterlands gaming experience only.

Your post is of financial nature.

If I curate u, it will bring 6 accounts on this post and also all the people who follow these accounts trials.

As a curator, I refuse to call monster-curator and oneup-curator to this post as it's not relevant to this post in my opinion. It's my voting right and I told you what's socially accepted here.

If u wanna use these tags in these types of post, keep using. If more people think like me u might get a DV or a tribe mute in extreme case.

Each one these 6 tags allows u to earn a specific token/crypto and I refuse to give it oneup and spt for this post.

This is my personal opinion. Your shouting at me not gonna help me nor you. The least action, I can do is mute u thus I never curate u again.

I am letting u go because you look like a new user.

I wrote I took my Curation back because I accidentally curated it and saw u used spt, and oneup tag, I changed my mind removing my command before it calls all the accounts I explained.

So where is your voice of opposition against posts like This one from OneUp? One that talks about purchasing cards and stacking tokens? A post that is directly named something about "memes." Hm?

Raw link: https://www.1up.zone/@almightygrim/rising-star-meme-91-catching

How about This one? It gives little graphics and explains things about a game and their investments in it.

Raw link: https://www.1up.zone/@chubb149/portfolio-power-players-splinterlands-beast

What about This one from your own "Cartel" that simply speaks on your financial actions on the chain? Odd, pot calling the kettle black. It seems you have some reason to sit here and try to domineer over me, while being hypocritical and your group doing the same actions you're attempting to chastise me for.

Raw link: https://www.1up.zone/@ravenmus1c/weekly-oneup-rising-star-post-week-13-fan-club

From your "Cartel" group's post:

Like last week, not much to say about the cartel´s account. I am still not buying any card packs or cards, but stacking up my Starbits until I have 1 Million. By:____ ravenmus1c

So aside from your group doing the actions you speak of, most of the top earning ONEUP posts are, in fact not the distorted reality you live in, about finance and investing in ONEUP and SPT and various games on the Hive chain.

Please stop bitching, I could care less about the curation from your no doubt alternate accounts and the chain you've constructed. It seems next to none of your Cartel team even hold rank in any of the communities you seem to wish to corruptly and hypocritically attempt to police.

Muted for your ignorance and for having the arrogance to be the pot calling the kettle black. Get real buddy. The difference between you and I is that I'm not a hater when I see other people's success, I try to build and support them despite their opposing views. I'm not closed-minded or believe that other people's ideas should or would coincide with mine. We are all individuals giving individual worth and individual value to one another where we each see fit. You don't have to agree, we can get along. :) You can feel free to just not vote me if you don't like my content or feel it's misrepresented through tags. I feel that by your own standards stated to me, your Cartel does that as is, so I don't respect your words. Sorry, not sorry.

  1. I didn't insulted you nor I think u insulted me.

  2. I shared my opinion when I said "better be safe then sorry" taking care of you for any potential harm that can happen to your account and giving you my opinion.

  3. It was a gray area to me and others will have different opinions too. Some thinks like me, some thinks like you.

  4. I agree with the fact that the whole point of tags is higher visibility and it should be visible to splinterlands, gaming and nft audience.
