Analyzing my Season Performance #4 - Splinter Stats Season 59 Report Card
@hollowknightgod
We're back at Analyzing my Performance with the most chaotic and unexpected season I've played so far. I've got used to walk a very thin line between my rentals and my in game cash, and this one season demanded that I was better prepared. I wasn't.
Nearing the end of season many of the cards I rented got canceled and I wasn't prepared to bare the costs of renting all the way to the end. I was faced with a huge dilemma. I could either give up the season completely, or I would have to sell some cards to maintain myself at Diamond/Champion. It is a tough decision, because if I gave up on the season, I'd drop to Bronze or Silver, and would have to grind back up to Champion all over the next season. A pretty tall order for a single season.
At the end of the day, I was saved by @BP a Guild companion of mine and I truly own him a huge favor. He delegated me with enough power so I could reap the rewards from my season without having to liquidate a lot of my cards to maintain that power during the end of season.
It is reassuring to know that there's lots of people like him in the community, but I'm already finding ways to avoid this kinds of problems in the future. One can't count on miracles twice.
I wanted to tell you guys this little tale of the last season, and I hope I didn't bore you to death. Let's go down to the numbers.
Match Report

Diamond Rank | 103 |
Rating | 3659 - Diamond I |

Longest Streak | 7 |
Performance was average, and I haven't been improving that much, even though I think every season I'm learning more and more, and understanding better the compositions and counters.
To be real honest, this season was really competitive and as you can see, it was the first in the last 4 seasons that I couldn't reach my Champion II usual spot. I don't know if people are just catching up in the gameplay mechanics or if the rewards are just good enough in the higher leagues now so that players are dedicating a little more time to it.

Reward Cards for the season have been the blessing of Splinterlands for me, and this season didn't let me down. Another Gold Foil Epic card, this time a Uraeus.
The end of season had another surprise for me, a 7K DEC chest that made a huge difference in my current season already.
Everything else was pretty average, and I just keep stacking those common cards which will be worth a lot more in the future!
Rental Report

Expenses | (23004.485) |
Cancellation Refunds | 739.220 |
NET | (21344.082) |
As you can see, rentals haven't moved all that much in price compared with past seasons. It is the stability of rentals that are put now some players in a state of complete stale mate.

Just as the seasons before, I keep stacking my SPS, and my conviction in the strength of SPS has only grown with time. I'm pondering buying some more throughout the next season.
This ended up being the most disastrous and blessed season of my Splinterlands Journey so far. It was really a roller coaster of good and bad things happening one after the other, and I'm glad I could reach the finale unscathed.
The next season is already up, and results will surely be a lot more stable in the future!
