This is the sixth week of the workout challenge I have made for myself. Here is my week 0 post if you want to read the details. https://ecency.com/hive-193552/@horstman5/pushup-pullup-chinup-situp-challenge

I have worked ahead a bit, so I am starting this week on day 38.

Monday

  • 38 push-ups
  • 38 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

I can tell this week is going to be rough. Last week I flew through my reps during the first half of the week. Today they were really difficult to get done. This may end up being the week where I start splitting my reps up.

Tuesday

  • 39 push-ups
  • 39 sit-ups
  • 4 pull-ups
  • 4 chin-ups

I got my reps in before bed tonight. They weren’t as bad as yesterday, but they were still tough.

Wednesday

  • 0 push-ups
  • 0 sit-ups
  • 0 pull-ups
  • 0 chin-ups

I wasn’t able to make time for my reps today. I just had way too much going on. I’ve worked ahead though so it’s not too big of a deal. I’ll pick it back up tomorrow.

Thursday

  • 40 push-ups
  • 40 sit-ups
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 5 chin-ups

Today is day 40, so I am adding an additional pull-up and chin-up. Today actually wasn’t too bad. I had to stop and stretch a couple of times, but I got everything done in one sitting. I got my second COVID shot, so we will see if I feel up to doing reps tomorrow.

Friday

  • 0 push-ups
  • 0 sit-ups
  • 0 pull-ups
  • 0 chin-ups

I wasn’t feeling up to working out today. My second shot has me feeling drained and tired. I’ll probably go ahead and take tomorrow off too.

Saturday

  • 0 push-ups
  • 0 sit-ups
  • 0 pull-ups
  • 0 chin-ups

Sunday

  • Rest day

I’ve chosen Sunday to be my rest day, so this is the end of my sixth week. Tomorrow will start my seventh week, and I will be on day 41 of the challenge. I didn’t get much done this week. We had a lot going on, and my second shot left me feeling too weak to do much in the later part of it. I’m hopeful I’ll get back into my routine next week.

Here are the rules again in case you want to join the challenge.

Do 1 push-up and sit-up, adding 1 additional push-up and sit-up for each day of the challenge.
Do 1 chin-up and pull-up, adding 1 additional chin-up and pull-up for each 10th day of the challenge
You can work ahead but only if you complete all of the exercises for that day.
You can split up the exercises throughout the day as long as they are all done by the end of the day
