Hey, has it been a week now? I guess so. I'm back for another #Index4Index challenge, featuring Nian as she sleeps on her favorite spot on the sofa. Nian is Grumpy's baby cat and is also Maize's mama cat. Now I have featured all three on this latest challenge.

Lately, I have been exploring the synchronicity of the heart and mind. I've been watching YT videos and learning more about the topic. That's one reason why I chose this featured quote, as it resonated with me upon reading it. I would like to believe that we all have the potential to be the best that we can be, in ways that benefit not only the self but humanity as well. For now, I will focus on the self, as it's easier to control and achieve. I remember this advice from an old high school adviser, "Whatever you do, do it excellently." That same advice has stayed with me to this day. We do not become excellent right away. It takes time, esp. when doing things for the first time. What's important is we're willing to learn. Mistakes and challenges may be encountered along the way. It is a necessity that we rise above the challenges and learn from the mistakes. Then, we just keep moving forward. There's much more about the topic that's waiting to be learned. I'm a work in progress.

The quote also touches on choice. It is entirely up to us whether we want to be the best that we can be. If you find yourself making excuses, stop. Step back a bit and listen to what you're saying. I'm a staunch believer in possibilities. Most times, it is us that set the limit for ourselves. Do remember that we all have the potential to excel.
