Help Me If You Can, I'm Feeling Down, And I Do Appreciate You Being Round...

I viewed with much interest a live stream video @jongolson put up on Facebook Thursday last titled "ClickTrackProfit - Thursday Night Live": https://www.facebook.com/ClickTrackProfit/videos/460989264522235/

Sadly I could not hook on to that one, as Mary had an appointment with a specialist at Wellington Hospital. I'm just so grateful to Jon Olson that he records these ones so we can all watch at a more convenient time.

He began the show by telling us about a brand storytelling book he had just bought. He said part of that book explained that we need to focus on helping people first and then the sales will follow. Our story needs to be unique to ourselves. In this way, we can build our relationships.

Jon then went on to explain how he needs to build up the new CTP since the old CTP failed. He knows he needs something unique to integrate into the CTP brand: that he really does care and that he wants everyone to succeed.

He's come up with an idea that will show CTP members they're valued and also release their stress somewhat. So what's his plan? Well, that's his secret, so I guess you'll just have to watch the recorded video on Facebook, eh!

Then he mentions a quote from Wayne Gretzky: go where the puck is going, not where it's been. Applying that thinking to where we are at today, Jon says that we need to be going to crypto and blockchain, rather than being in the stuck-in-the-mud group.

Yeah, perhaps we all need to get our skates on and follow Wayne's advice: chase the puck!

Jon posits that the main message of that book is this: AM I HELPING PEOPLE? If we build our brand by helping others first rather than just selling them stuff, we'll build our relationships and credibility; people will feel that there's a human being behind the screen.

For Jon, to rebuild his CTP brand, he's going to put the help in front of people, and he's found a way to do just that by utilising the technology available to him. He knows that there's a lot of mending of fences and rebuilding of bridges.

He suggests that here on Steem, we're plugging into the technology that's going to be there for years and years and years and that we have an amazing, supportive, and thriving community of fellow steemians.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down, and I do appreciate you being round...
