Failed Metaverse Attempts vs Forming SplinterVerse
Decentraland and Sandbox are seen as the most valuable "Metaverse" projects in crypto for this era. During the hype on Metaverses, millions of dollars worth of plots have been sold for people who have literally no idea about blockchain but invest in metaverses.
Basically, both Decentraland and Sandbox opened the door of a new era with their already existing gameplay and concept of verses. They contributed to the mass adoption of NFTs, digital identity and the upcoming Web3 standard. However, sadly though, they are left behind in the bear market.
Bear Market is Ruthless
Imagine when we were amidst the metaverse hype. If I had told you that one day Sandbox will only have 500 active users and Decentraland will only have 38 active users per day?
If you visit DappRadar Decentraland, you will see that parcels are sold for thousands of dollars. How is going to use these plots? What will add these artificial lands to the owners? I really do not see any future on these actions as there are new and possibly "undervalued" metaverse projects are coming to outperform the existing ones with their strong partnerships and marketing stragies.
Splinterlands is Purely Undervalued
I will keep comparing the projects which are seen as the rivals of Splinterlands directly or indirectly. In terms of metaverse projects, they are not always put into the same category with Play2Earn / GameFi projects. However, there we are likely to talk about SplinterVerse in 2-3 years considering the developments going around.
Another Verse with half million players:
With the launch of Lands, Splinterlands will get a right to claim that the game integrated metaverse concept if the UI is supported and the concept of digital identity enhanced, Splinterlands can easily own the title of Metaverse project.
There has been several projects built at the top of Hive but I believe the Lands of Splinterlands has much more potential to change the course of top-tier coins if Splinterlands can attract more volume, money and people in the next hype.
Many people suffered from the lands of metaverse(!) projects in the previous hype. This time, people can differentiate the one without utility and the one that has a use case or intrinsic value. Imagine you can craft NFTs on a land that has nearly a half million potential customers 😉 I think this narrative may push Splinterlands higher than ever 🔥

Dear @bhattg and India-leo team,
Thanks for your endless support 🙏🏼
You are welcome 😊🙏🎆🎉
The whole concept of calling slices of these virtual maps 'land', makes me laugh.
In terms of an actual metaverse experience, I still love the idea of integrating a virtual layer on top of the real world using augmented reality.
Do you know if anyone is actually doing this?

It was terrible hype that reminded me ICO trend back in the years. Sometimes people lose their minds 😅

Splinterlands is really great. I admire the people that created it.

Hi friend
Undervalued is truly the word. Can't wait to see how things pan out when the platform gathers more traction it would give any other metaverse a run for their money for sure.
