The weekend had been a whirlwind for us but we got some time to enjoy a walk along Session Road where we saw and photographed several displays along the street -- vintage cars (Volkswagen) on one side and chalk arts on the other.

There were also people dressed in various costumes (mascots) - i.e. as Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean), Spiderman, Iron Man, Captain America, did I say there was a Spider Woman too? And many others disguised as cartoon characters. They stationed all around the place for photo-taking.

Today, I'm just featuring the cars, mostly Volks in different shades or colors, some still looking like they're new, others not so. There were many of them actually but because there were quite a lot of people when we were going up towards Luneta Hill so we didn't photograph all of them. Most were decorated with Christmas ornaments, others none at all but they all look great and shiny which were quite fascinating to see.

We learned that earlier on that day, they had a parade as a way to open the event informally with the theme, "An Enchanting Session Road Christmas." We were there in the afternoon so we missed it.

It's been a while since we have been to that part of the city and it was lovely to take a walk, first up towards the Super Mall where we took time to buy our new toy, then back down to Malcolm Square where there was another event taking place.

Being on a weekend, we expected heavy traffic so we left the car at my sister's and took a cab because parking spaces are a problem when going to the city center and the husband just couldn't keep his cool when vehicles move like turtles, lol!

It was a short adventure but yeah, we had fun and we would do it again next time.

This is my wee story for the day and I wish you a wonderful time with whatever you are doing :)

The atmosphere around that event must be that of Christmas, seeing those car brings beautiful memories for me.

I am sure you had so much fun and you must have gotten lots of gifts from the imaginary Santa

I like the red volks with presents. It looks like Santa's sleigh but more modern with no reindeers.
