Passion Fruit Flower

We went out of the house yesterday afternoon and drove down to the valley. There was an event going on (Town Fiesta) and various activities and or competitions are in place, re: sports, creativity, recycling/upcycling etcetera. Lots of temporary stalls, tents and kiosks both for leisure and businesses were installed in different parts of the valley.

Anyway, we had been walking and going around for a while and we felt really tired so we decided to find a stall to have some drinks while resting our weary feet. The husband wanted some milk tea and he had been queuing for like eternity only to be told he might have to wait another 20-30 minutes before it will be confirmed whether his order will be accommodated. I honestly couldn't help but rolled my eyes on how the sales people were handling their customers so we left to find another place.

We stumbled upon a coffee stall which had mini tables set up under the cypress tree but were already full. We could not resist the aroma of café being brewed however, so we had our orders taken (Macchiato for me and Latte for the husband) and then looked for a space to sit on. Luckily, some of the customers left after some 10 minutes so we secured our seats before our cups were delivered.

We super enjoyed the outdoor ambiance and the coffee that we stayed long under the shade of the cypress tree. It was until we felt the colder afternoon breeze when we decided to go back to the car for our jackets. The walk was long for we parked at the school gym which was like a kilometer away (but not really). The good thing, we were able to enjoy some blooms along the way and took photos of them too.

Meanwhile, we're treating today (Sunday) our lazy day 'coz we are still feeling the exhaustion of yesterday's long walks. But who knows, maybe later in the afternoon, we'd go out for another adventure.

Until then, cheers to a glorious weekend!

All photos are my own. 12032023/10:20ph

Take your time to rest today sista. A kilometer walk to the car seems like a nice closing for the town fiesta walk. !LOLZ

I have never seen this White-Pink Cymbidium flower yet, the color looks very nice.

Thank you brother :) I changed my mind and didn't go out again today, lol!

The cymbidium color is quite common here. The rare ones are yellow and others.

Cypress tree? I think I first heard about it now. It looks to have so many branches and for sure it will give a great shade.

I think you have seen one before :) Usually decorative sya panglandscaping sa gardens or park. The one we sat under yesterday was very old and had been shaped beautifully. D ko napix yung puno mismo yung underbranches nya lang haha.

Thank you sis ;)

This is amazing share, have a great weekend and I want to see more from you and want to learn too. The last photo is full of dry branches made something uncommon to see as photograph, it looks like a village, is it? Thanks for sharing!

Nothing as putting off as poor customer service. When I worked as a sales person, I had to go through a course (self taught by my boss) on the right ways to treat customers (both the bad and good). She taught me to value people and also to never let my emotions interfere with good sales or a potential relationship. She also taught me to never judge the book until I have read it. So, I would totally roll my eyes!

And Sunday is a good day. Hope you enjoyed your coffee?... hehehe

You're an excellent sales person :) Maybe they were tired but not a good excuse to do what they did, hehe.

Yes, coffee was good and I drunk it to the last drop, lol! Thank you lots !LADY and hope your day is going well.

Hi @ifarmgirl, it's always good to get out for some fresh air, and even more so when there are new places to see, how nice that you took the time.

Hola @ifarmgirl, siempre es bueno salir a tomar aire puro, y mucho mas cuando hay lugares nuevos por conocer, que bien que te diste ese tiempo.
