LeoFinance Developments & My 3rd Installment to the pHBD-USDC LP

Hive-Backed Dollars (HBD) had some interesting action a few days back breaking the peg and reaching $3. Unfortunately, I was offline due to a family occasion and I missed to take advantage of the opportunity presented. Although I caught up when it was at still $1.56 and bought some $HIVE with my liquid HBD, I was dead tired to monitor and had fallen asleep without doing much.

And I have also completely forgotten about what I have in the Polycub Farms. I could have swapped the pHBD into USDC and then bought back when it returned to its peg. I wonder if that will ever happen again. The Koreans seem to be having fun pumping coins, HIVE and HBD weren't exempt from their game.

Anyway, today I decided to add a little more to the pHBD-USDC LP in Polycub for the third time and it's when I noticed that the LeoBridge had a face lift. The devs are building quietly and making things attractive. And guess that's one of the strengths of LeoFinance, its ability to keep BUIDLing and bringing excitement and more opportunities to the community.

So what else can we say but thank you and kudos to the LeoFinance Team for all that they do. For those who are still unaware, things like the following have rolled out recently:

  • vexPolyCUB where more than 40% of xPolyCUB had been locked away for 2 years.
  • CUBFi V2 where new LP pairs utilizing HIVE and HBD were added: bHIVE-CUB; bHBD-BUSD; bHBD-CUB. An additional exposure for Hive assets in the Binance Smart Chain network.

And if I'm not mistaken, the following are expected in the LeoFinance space/ecosystem:

  • Threads (may come out very soon)
  • xCUB on CUBFi (Governance like that on the Polycub)
  • ProjectBlank
  • Collateralized Lending on Polycub

The developments seem to be nonstop and perhaps there will be more surprises coming. Meanwhile, let's also do our part and take advantage and stack up more of what we can while most tokens are "on sale" (Not a Financial Advice).

Well I was unaware of the dev on cubs already but its good you brought them to notice.

Which app do you use to monitor the price of HBD or hive
I might need to learn to keep track of prices as well.

Yes, series of developments by the LF team.

I check through peakd wallet (on desktop) or go to coinmarketcap to check the price of HBD and HIVE. You're welcome :)

How and where did you sell the HBD for Hive. I was watching the pump button didn't know who actually pull the triggers. You mean just sell HBD immediately on the internal market or something else?

I always use the Ecency front-end market buying HIVE using HBD because there is no need to exchange HBD to Swap.HBD which is really easy.

Unfortunately, 3 of my buy orders were not executed so I didn't benefit much from the HBD spike.

There is liquidity but I set the buy price too low (at $0.34, $0.35 and $0.39), LOL! When I woke up the next morning, HBD price was already back to its peg and HIVE was above 50 cents :)

Pag conversion sis, it takes 3.5 days. Ang ginagawa ko tini-trade na lang.

Yes sis, the time na bumili ako, 53 cents ang price ng Hive sa market pero since mataas ang HBD, yung 5 ko nakabili ng 14+Hive.

Sayang, yung 50HBD na trade ko hindi na-fill kasi medyo mababa buy order price ko tapos biglang taas kaya d naabutan haha. 166.67 HIVE sana yung mabili nya :)

You and I missed out on the pump and caught it at similar values. The only difference is while you were at a family occasion I was trying not to touch my phone as it was too early, XD
