Little Yet Important Milestone in the Den & in Hive

Being a new cub in the lion's den (Leo Finance), my only goal was to learn things and grow my account in the process. I am mostly behind what's happening around the crypto world and this community has been a great source of information as of late and so I enjoy spending time here everyday.

And today just got a lot better when I received this badge from @hivebuzz. Little did I know that writing what I thought would be helpful would get me this trophy.

Oh boy, this does need to get recorded and so I'm writing about it. This serves as my reward for working a little harder hehe! So please be gentle and don't spoil my fun, okay? LOL!

Kidding aside, this is actually my way of extending my gratitude to all of you who support my journey here. I couldn't have done this without you. And this is another proof of the engagement magic. So gracias cubs, lions, and the whole of Hive for making this adventure enjoyable.

Prior to today, I've always wondered how other content creators get so much eyes to their contents. And looking at their stats, I know they deserve the attention they get. They worked on it and it didn't happen overnight. I think snooping around and using what I see to motivate me has been a great help too. So yes, I can boldly say that looking at other people's progress is good when we use it as our inspiration to do and be better. I still have a long way to go and I hope this method will fuel my passion to learn more and keep going.

And for the first time ever, my post made it to the LeoFinance front page. I have always admired creators who keep their contents up the front and perhaps subconsciously, I hoped mine would one day make it there. And thanks to @whatsup for making that dream come true for me yesterday :)

It feels like I hit the jackpot, lol! But kidding aside, I'm so happy to have made it there even for a short while. These little moments are part and parcel of my Hive journey and I treasure them sincerely.

And reading appreciation from others makes it even more rewarding. Thank you guys!

So many memories of the early days of building my account in this post. I made 90 some posts in the early days before I started to make some progress and to be honest, I was getting close to giving it up!

Engagement, name recognition and becoming part of the community is a huge part to kick off the network effect!

I'm glad you didn't give up :) I think that's what separates the winner from those who don't make it. The "never-giving-up-no-matter-what" attitude.

I'm trying to use the app since it's what's easier for me. After updating it, it keeps telling me Invalid Hivesigner password. And my Peakd works just fine

Oh, sorry to hear. I have to try it out on the app myself so I logged out and signed in again using Hivesigner and it went through. If you copy and paste your password, you might need to try typing them yourself to see how it goes.

No, the Hivesigner password is the one you set yourself not the keys.

Engaging with the community is like ... It's like creating a garden in your backyard. There are many different plants that you can plant and nurture. Some plants need more of the sun, some plants need more shade, but all plants thrive when you take care of them.

Myself, I am a bad gardener, but others, like yourself, I think will grow a great garden. :D
