Other Ways to Earning $LEO, $HIVE & HBD

Today after staking 18HIVE (18th May), I wasn't that excited to come to my Leo Finance wallet because I know I had none to stake for the day 'coz I've dropped them all yesterday. To my surprise, I found some 50LEOs sitting on it.

My curiosity led me to investigate where that 50LEO came from and I found these two "large" transactions:

That was a very nice surprise to be honest. And that inspired the post that I'm sharing today especially for those who are not yet aware that besides getting rewards through our own contents, there are other ways to maximize our earning potentials here in Hive and in Leo Finance.

I actually didn't know of these things until recently when I started to explore more of this space. So let's dive into them, shall we?

Engaging

This cannot be overemphasized enough that is why it is encouraged throughout Hive. It's how we grow as a whole. And the rewards are not only double, but so much more.

First, we learn things or get updated of developments.
Second, we gain exposure to others and make our network grow.
Third, we have the chance to get Khal's 100 LEO if we get ahead of him on the Leo Finance Engagement League.
Fourth, our comments have the chance of getting upvoted by the whales and other users and the rewards could be both in $LEO and $HIVE. Although more people are sharing about the importance of engagement, we didn't really show how it is possible in the financial aspect. And I thought it would be nice to lay them out in detail here. And let me show you and example below:

Below was a screen capture via Ecency front-end of my own comment to the post of tokenizedsociety which was upvoted by 20 people. It shows $0.41 as the comment's rewards.

And here is the same comment's screen shot via the Leo Finance Interface showing 46.97LEO as the rewards amount.

Of course we know how it works here that about 50% of that goes to the curators and we get about half of it. And here's what I got from that comment: 23.483LEO + 0.104HBD & 0.213HP. Why is that? The accounts that upvoted my comment had more Leo Power than Hive Power. And I also, I had LEO staked (LP).

And here's another scenario, the first screenshot below was from Ecency front-end, showing $3.35 as the vote rewards, upvoted by 4 people.

And this is the same comment but seen via the Leo Finance Interface showing 0.37LEO as rewards.

And here comes the payout of that particular comment: 1.105HBD+2.23HP and 0.185LEO

I hope you got the idea of how the rewards are. And imagine if we do 10 comments that gets curated, it's huge. But even small amounts build up and help our account grow. And if I may add, it helps if we have LEO staked to maximize the rewards. This works the same with other Hive Engine tokens.

And I should also add that if Leo Finance has its own Engagement League that rewards 100 LEO to those who outrank Khal, there's also the Hive Engagement League which rewards the Top 10 Weekly engagers to share 25 HP directly powered up on their accounts.

Sharing Other People's Articles on Twitter

Apart from earning $POSH tokens (if you are registered to HivePosh) when sharing articles on Twitter using #hive tag, we also have a CHANCE to get rewarded with liquid $HIVE when we share other people's posts with the proper tags and then the OCD curators upvote our posh comment. Not all Twitter shares get curated by OCD so make good tweets for higher chances. And we must follow certain criteria too.

Here are a few screen shots of my $HIVE rewards from sharing other people's posts on Twitter. This has been a great help in growing my HP.

Also, the posts we share have the chance to get curated by OCD so we're not only having the chance for ourselves but we are also helping others in our own little ways.

And so these are just two of the ways to earning more here in the blockchain aside from other opportunities that help us accumulate Hive-Engine tokens by using proper tags like pob, ctp and others.
