My broker gave me 1 year of trading terminal and I made over $200 (on a simulator)

I stopped day trading because I want to focus on myself and stuff that is less risky. But a broker I use to trade gave me a 1-year subscription to a professional platform/terminal so I am using it to trade on a simulator.

I enjoy the adrenaline rush trading gives, it is addictive, but I do not enjoy losing money. That is my I am using this professional tool as a videogame. Sadly it is a game that only works on working hours because the simulator pretends to put your order in the exact place of the order book as if it were a real order.

So I let myself play using the simulator and I made some nice gains. It is cool to play stonks without losing money.

I like this platform, and always want to try it, because it has a tool called "SuperDOM" which allows you to trade scalping very very easily. You can place an order with extreme precision, set the stop-loss precisely, and exchange contracts around your order while you wait for a movement.

I played this as if it were a game, as real money is not involved neither in the trades nor in the subscription.

At the end of the day I did have profits, but even playing it as a game got me tired and was a bit stressful.

I ended up the day with a net profit of R$1235,00 (this is Brazilian Reais, BRL) which would be $226 dollars.

I know they sent this product to entice me to go back to trading, and I must admit, with this result it is tempting, but long term I do not want this kind of risk, stress, and commitment in my life.

I will keep playing the simulator, as I would a video game, but I will keep buying bonds and invest more safely.

It was fun though.
