One good turn deserves another 💞💞💞

Relationship is an important aspect of human life, most people relate with others based on what they can gain from them, but it is important to note that our relationship with others should not only be based on gains but from the place of love. There is a saying that "one good turn deserves another".💝💝💝

A friend of mine told me a story that I wish to share.
A young man name King had admission into the University in U.K, When he got to the airport he was stranded, the man that was to pick him was not there and he waited for hours and even tried calling but could not still reach the man. David was a student an also a taxi driver, on this faithful day after dropping off a customer he saw King looking so devastated and tired he walked up to King and introduced himself and asked what was the problem. King told David everything that happened and David offered to assist King. David took King home and asked him to pass the night at his place then tomorrow he tries contacting the man that was to pick him up. The next David returned from work and asked King if he heard from the man, King said yes but that there was a problem, the man had company and the won't be enough space for King to join him. David asked King to stay with him as long as he wants after all he won't always be around. David also assisted King to sort out his school stuff, since he was also a student at the same University as King.

Fast forward 20years later, David's daughter is meeting with the C.E.O of the company she applied for a Job. She was confused on why she was asked to meet with the Boss instead of the HR that every other candidate was meeting. King was the C.E.O of the company. King told her not to worry that he meant no harm. King asked her some questions just to confirm what he was suspecting . King after confirming that was David's daughter smile and was filled with joy. King told her that she got the Job but that she was going to work directly with him, she argued with him and he said the company has a policy of reserving a slot for the C.E.O when recruiting. She was still not buying that idea, King now told her how her Father had helped him some years back. This new position came with a huge salary and a car.

We can see in this that it was David that helped King but the daughter reaped the reward of his kindness.
In life let's not help people based on what we stand to gain. Our relationship with others should always be with Love and Kindness, helping someone and expecting something in the future is totally wrong.
