Unbearable state of Insecurity in Nigeria: Increasing State of Gunmen attack in Anambra as they Invaded Police Stations and burnt down Vehicles

It has become so alarming in Anambra State as Unknown Gunmen are taking over the state. It becomes so scaring if gunmen should attack even police stations who supposed to protect lives of the citizens then what is fate of a common man.

Recent report shows the difference attacks of Unknown Gunmen in Anambra State though it's government tried to intervene yet the incident keeps increasing on the daily basis. These Gunmen no fear against anybody not even the security guards in the state as they damages properties worth billions of Naira, destroying infrastructures including police stations and invasion of public properties.

On early hours of Wednesday, 20th April, 2022, the Unknown Gunmen attacked Ayamelum Divisional Police Station at Anaku in Anambra State and the the security officers wouldn't withstand the operation, the Unknown Gunmen invaded the station, destroys properties and took away some weapons. They also destroys destroyed Vehicles and burnt them to ashes, what a terrible state of insurgency.
Since 2021, the police stations has become one of the main target of Unknown Gunmen destructions.

As it stands now more 34 Police Stations has been burnt down in Nigeria already by the Unknown Gunmen, proximately 112 Policemen are been Killed by the same Unknown gunmen in just less than 10 Months in the country. If this happened to security personnel what then will happen to a common citizen of Nigeria.

One of the outstanding thing about this Unknown Gunmen is that they have more sophisticated weapons than Nigerian Arm Forces. No one can defeat the enemy with outdated weapons. It has become so worrisome as the lives of people are no longer safe even in the police custody.

The Unknown Gunmen who came with the target of destruction shot at the police officers who were on duty and also set fire on the police vehicles they normally used for operations.

DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the state police public relations officer, said, “The attack was successfully repelled by our officers. We didn’t record any casualties.

Before now the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had issued Sit-at-home as they are agitating for the independent and the release of their Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Meanwhile, the Anambra State Governor who assumed office suspended the order on Monday issued already by the group and assured the citizens of their protection in the state to go about their normal duty was shocked as the Unknown Gunmen invaded the police station again which leads to destruction of many things.

That is horrifying. If 110 police officers were murdered in 10 months in the USA, or in the UK, there would be an absolute outrage.

Nigeria sounds like it's being attacked by outside forces funding these Gunmen. Who are they?
