Richlist is losing influence over the staked POB POwer
For the first time since compilation of Rich-list, there is a significant change at the top of the Rich-list. @trostparadox has formed a new account for #POB curation with @trostparadox.pob, which landed up on sixth place. @amr008.pob account which was consistently ranked at 6th Position has now moved to fifth place.
Summary of the Rich-list changed
3996 accounts of the POB holders were analysed for this presentation. Out of this, as many as 1685 accounts had zero or close to zero balance in their wallets on 05.07.2021.
- 14 out of 50 maintained their ranks as it is, last week it was just 11
- 8 Out of 50 saw their positions going down, last week it was 25.
- 24 Out of 50 saw their positions improving, last week it was 11
- 4 Were new entrants to this list.
These changes are indicating that the ranks in rich-list are stabilizing.

Influence of Top 50 POB Holders
Last week when I posted the statistics, there were 715244 POB tokens staked in the #pob power. Out of these 519785 POB power is staked in these 50 accounts. This week the total POB power locked in the stakes is 767356 and the total power with top 50 rich accounts is just 504870. Which means out of the total power staked, top 50 Rich accounts control only 65% of the total power. This is down from the all time high of 88% few weeks back.
This indicates that the decentralization process started last week is continued further.
More the token spread, more it engage the user and help in the growth.
I will like to see top 50 holding below 25% , I feel 65 % is also too high.
I completely agree with your statement, however the silver lining is that we are witnessing the process of decentralization and soon we will see lot of accounts with similar #POB Power.
65% of total power is a great power. It can govern POB community to be the stable community.
Top 50 accounts with 65% voting power is still on the higher side. For most of the decisions on #pob you need 51% of #pob power to get your proposals pass.
You really have become the community chartist now. I appreciate the kind of statistics you post on #pob. I am really amazed to see that #pob already have started working on decentralization. In the midst of the fights between whales, some times these posts are worth reading.
Yes it looks that the process of decentralization has already started. The demand for the POB tokens in the initial days probably centralized the powers in the hands of the few. But as we see more people accumulating the tokens at lower prices is actually helping to decentralize.
Though the rich-list decentralization looks promising , I am not sure how the accounts with zero balances can be of help to this platform. There are close to 30% of the accounts carrying zero or close to zero balances.
Growing zero balance accounts is a concern as it indicates that the investors or pob holders are losing the interest in the tokenomics and they are either selling or not generating enough amount of #pob. If they are not able to generate enough tokens, I have already started an initiative for identification of undervalued posts and anybody can site the posts which are 4 days old and are undervalued and I would be really happy to support such content. However, if the stakeholders generated tokens and then sold it then it is a real concern.

That seems like an interesting suggestion, I can definately create the post highlighting the rich-list on the CINE platform, but your second suggestion is a lot more interesting one. However, I will not be able to tell anyone to sell anything.

It would be good to compile the same in the future. I just compiled the list and found that you are in the list of the top riches on the cine platform. Will do it soon as the time permits.

Yeah, the decentralization has continued and is really a good development, I think the dip helped carry this out, if not for the dip do you think this extra decentralization would have occurred?
I see the good sign is there is more people engage in POB tribe (I'm one of them) and the minnows start getting more POB in their account

Awesome data! It is good to see distribution happening. 65% is a good number. I am excited to see it continue to drop in the coming weeks. I am not sure what a healthy ecosystem would look like. I do know 65% is far better than 88%.
This is a million dollar question for all of us right now. But the more it gets distributed, its good for the community. By the way how are you as the #bht whale dealing with this situation ? How are you trying to distribute the votes on the platform ?
I have not taken it on fully yet... but I likely should. I am not quite sure how to move forward when it seems to be just a tag people add (like PAL or Archon). There is no BHT community to speak of. Perhaps building it would be the place to start.
