The Holy Days are Approching!

Today is the first day of the new year and holy week is just one week away! There are two holy weeks one after the other, the first is the final week of Yeshua's life as recorded in the bible, the second is the week of unleavened bread, when we eat unleavened for a week. Between these two weeks is the "passover" observance, done in remembrance of Yeshua, a ceremony centered around our children. Then on the third day we observe "firstfruits" or "resurrection day", traditionally called easter, though we observe it on a different day.

To make this observance extra special, I found some Israeli wine. One bottle from the Galilee and another bottle from Jerusalem.

Normally wine from the Holy land is far outside of our price range, but with some research I was able to find these bottles of wine within our budget. Only happens once a year!
