We Are Alive! May 16th, 2023 Chickens

We got a call for an opportunity for some free chicken manure for our garden, so we got in the car and visited some relatives. The children got to get up close and personal with some chickens!

Daniel was brave and picked up a chicken himself.

The brown chicken was tricky for him to hold, so he held a smaller white chicken.

The children had a great time with the chickens... It's just a matter of time before we have our own flock!

Chickens are a lot of fun and way more entertaining than most shows on television these days and they don't have any commercials or woke ideologies to ruin the enjoyment you get from watching them just be themselves. 😊

You will enjoy them a lot once you've got them, just be prepared for predators to start coming around and remind the younger ones to be careful as the rooster talon can be dangerous if you get one that decides to be a jerk, but of course, if you get one of those they can always go in the cook pot. 😊
