Waking up to realize it is a new month is exciting, knowing one has the opportunity to keep moving despite the situations and conditions around. I want to use this medium to wish everyone a happy new month. Basically, it is believed to be a month of love, and joining hands with that, I say welcome to the month of love. Well, it has been quite an adventure on hive.

Hive has exposed me to various opportunities I never dreamed of, one of which is the Splinterlands game. Right from when I picked up interest in the caption "earning while having fun," I have spent some time trying to make this a reality, as most of what we engage in is just worthless and time-consuming. Time is too precious to spend on things that don't yield dividends. Every moment wasted can't be retrieved, and as such, the time wasted in the past would definitely have at least a mild effect on the present or the future.

Taking part in the Splinterlands game, I realized lately that I am not achieving growth, which was later affirmed through a comment made on one of my posts about Splinterlands. I was bothered by it and analyzed it; the whole movement was as if it were around a fixed point.

Why do I say so?

Checking my past engagement with the Splinterlands game, I fully saw how my weeks of engagement weren't yielding any positive results based on my ranking. My continued wins in the game didn't fetch me another level; it was unknown to me what I had to do. While trying to improve the game to make me eligible to earn Splinterlands rewards, I saw what I was missing.

The Splinterlands Summoner's

Spellbook

The spellbook happens to be the gateway to earning a Splinterlands reward. I thought it was something I could afford with my hive earnings at the moment, but I realized the hive in store couldn't purchase the spellbook. The spellbook is worth about $10, which is approximately about 26 hive. My happiness is that I found what I was missing, and the next thing to do is channel my earnings to purchase hive.

While enjoying the fun attached to playing the Splinterlands game, I had to battle using the mana cap I was assigned, which was about 16 mana cap, of which the summoner was worth 4 mana cap and the remaining 12 were used to select two cards, one of which was 7 mana cap and the other was 5 mana cap. At the conclusion of the game, I was the winner in a battle of 4 against 2.

Conclusion

Splinterlands is an interesting play-to-earn game that opens players to various intellectual activities that aid in building one's intelligence quotient.
