Look For The Crowds of Humans in Merdeka Square

Earlier, I want to say thank you for taking the time to read or give a vote in each of the posts that I made, I hope I can continue to consistently write and establish relationships with each community.

The weekend always is a day awaited by everyone. Workers, students or anyone will always look forward to the weekend because that's when we took the day off from all the formal activities such as work and study. However, some sector jobs can't a holiday weekend, such as police, nurses, security guards, workers at the mall/ market but we should still give appreciation because thanks to them we can feel the holiday weekend. One of the activities that are often done by the community in my city is when the weekend is looking, crowd. One of them is to spend the morning time in Merdeka square Medan.

Merdeka Square is one of the green open spaces in the city of Medan. Green Open space is part of the public facilities that should be owned by every city. Open space is needed by society as part of the means of recreation, hobby, and mutual social interaction between residents of the city. The location of Merdeka Square, which is located in the city center terrain makes it easy to access various communities of the area around the city of Medan.

Merdeka square becomes a means for people to enjoy the holiday weekend. Usually, in the morning and evening, many of the residents of the city of Medan spend time with exercise along with their family and friends in this place. Various sports activities are done here like jogging surround the Merdeka square, cycling, gymnastics, play badminton, or playing football. There are also just sit and enjoy the atmosphere of the crowd and chatting with family and friends. It is part of the culture of the citizens especially the general habits of the people of Indonesia are very like to do activities together and go to crowded places.

In addition to being public facilities and open space, Merdeka square at the moment in the morning to be the means of small vendors selling a variety of food for breakfast or just a snack. There is a variety of breakfast menus sold to traders here as Lontong Medan, Savory Rice, Chicken Porridge, Chicken Noodle, etc. Traders took the opportunity of the habits of Indonesian people who are happy to eat and snack when going out with friends and family.

Habits of the people of Indonesia who like to get together and like the crowd is also the one who create the conditions of the pandemic Covid-19 because Indonesian people are difficult to be separated from the activities together. During the peak of the pandemic Covid 19 in Indonesia, Merdeka square repeatedly in open and closed because many citizens do not obey the protocol health and do not want to wear a mask. Fortunately, pandemic covid-19 began to decline trends and the number of deaths has dropped precipitously in Indonesia so we can work with your friends and family in public areas.
