Three months from now we will be heading to the end of the year 2020. Time feels so fast passed, let alone in my country, we had several times had a lockdown, guess if the number of days we implement a lockdown totalized since the year 2021, maybe we've been a stay-at-home for 1 month. Thankfully, the amount of lift of patients with covid-19 in Indonesia time is already down, and the government could reduce restrictions on social (I also heard that the cinema would have been allowed to open at the end of the month this September).

Usually, when the situation is normal and there is no pandemic. Planning for a vacation at the end of the year will be conducted in September, because usually if we plan in the distant day it will be a good price better airline tickets, cheap hotels, and possibly other promotions. If you again planning the holiday and the country where you live already has regulations to go visit other countries, I want to give recommendations one of the attractions priority in my country and also lies still one of the provinces with the place I live that is Lake Toba.

Lake Toba is the largest lake in Southeast Asia. The lake is surrounded by 7 regional administrations, namely Toba Samosir Regency, Simalungun, Karo, Samosir Regency, North Tapanuli, Humbang Hasundutan, and Dairi, so a lot of access can be done to get there. Some of the access that I can recommend based on my experience.

How To Access Tele Tower

1. Lines Medan – Prapat
   This track is often used by tourists, especially local tourists like me. We just need to drive the car for 3.5 hours or 4 hours if by public transportation.

2. Line Medan – Brastagi – Samosir
   If we have time and want to enjoy the view this is the path that can be chosen. The distance is indeed more distant because we will surround lake Toba.

3. Silangit airport – North Tapanuli
   Since the year 2017 is already built an international airport so the tourist can go directly to lake Toba without having to go to the city of Medan. From Silangit Airport we just need time 2 hours to head to lake Toba.

I have been through the way that the first and second. I also often across lake Toba while still working in the NGO Conservation. Because the location of lake Toba was very big and not all the places that I visit directly and I can document. I will share some of the ways to enjoy lake Toba, one of them is visiting the Tower of View of the Tele.

I made a few months ago had visited this place while on holiday with family. We took the route Medan comes to Brastagi and Sidikalang and Tele. We spend time during the 5-hour trip. The road leading to the Tele Tower is quite difficult if not used because of the way a lot of bends and up and down, I suggest use the driver who is experienced or more careful in driving. When carrying the car I barely drive with heart pounding

This location is located in the District of Harian Kabupaten Toba Samosir. For entry to the site only by using a cost of Rp. 7000,- the prices are quite cheap because the location is also clean and well maintained. You don't need to worry when you want to come here, because the building is on the edge of the road and got the building is very striking. Tele Tower is a building which has 4 floors so it is very easy to find and you won't be confused. This building became the best place to enjoy the view of lake Toba due to be the tallest building in Samosir.

In the Tele Tower, we could see lake Toba from a height, overlooking the right and left filled with green hills that surround the lake Toba. From the Tower of the Tele, we can also see mount pusuk buhit is the location that is trusted by the batak as the origin of man. This indicates that the Batak tribe is a tribe that has an old civilization, because I have the opinion of an ethnicity that has a story about the origin of life signifies the ethnic it's been cultured since the first.

Enjoying nature is one of the ways we have to clear your mind and relieve stress in ourselves. For us who live not far from Lake Toba, maybe this is the way of the lord so kam who live in Medan can enjoy nature without having to go far.
