[ENG-SPA] I 🧚‍♂️ Crochet Tinkerbell: 3rd challenge completed/Tinkerbell a crochet: 3er reto culminado 🧚‍♂️

Greetings my beautiful people of #Hive, I wish you a beautiful day, especially to all the members of the @needleworkmonday community. I missed last week because I had so many evaluations during the week. This weekend I took a little time to finish Tinkerbell to conclude another #NeedleWorkYourBucketList challenge, and now I have to get back to studying because, on Wednesday and Friday, I will have evaluations 😵‍💫. You don't know how hard it was for me to finish it, that hair gave me headaches ha, ha, ha, ha. That pattern was very confusing, although I do know how to read patterns in English, however, this one had a lot of mistakes. It was difficult, but I became Tinkerbell and did magic to finish it. This doll had many obstacles in the process of making her, first the body I made it easy, the dress I didn't understand the pattern but I still did my best and finished it. Then with the hair, I didn't understand how to attach it to the doll's head, so I managed to do it. It was worth it because I realized that it doesn't matter how difficult it is. After all, that's what challenges are all about, overcoming them no matter how difficult they are.

Saludos mi gente bella de #Hive, les deseo un hermoso día, especialmente a todos los miembros de la comunidad @needleworkmonday. La semana pasada me perdí por acá porque tenía muchísimas evaluaciones en la semana. Este fin de semana me tomé un tiempito para terminar a Tinkerbell y así concluir otro reto del #NeedleWorkYourBucketList, ya debo ponerme a estudiar porque el miércoles, y viernes tendré evaluaciones 😵‍💫. No saben lo mucho que me costó terminarla, ese pelo sí me dio dolores de cabeza ja, ja, ja. Ese patrón estaba muy confuso, aunque sí sé leer patrones en inglés, sin embargo, este tenía muchos errores. Fue difícil, pero me convertí en Tinkerbell e hice magia para culminarla. Esta muñequita tuvo muchos obstáculos en el proceso de realizarla, primero el cuerpo lo hice facilito, el vestido no lo entendía en el patrón aun así hice todo lo posible y lo terminé. Luego con el cabello, no entendía como unirlo a la cabeza de la muñeca, así que me las ingenié y lo logré. Ha valido la pena, porque me di cuenta de que no importa la dificultad, porque de eso se tratan los retos, de superarlos sin importar que tan difíciles sean.

For this second part of the Tinkerbell doll, I only used the green and yellow yarn, the #2 crochet hook, the wool needle, a little bit of stuffing, scissors, a couple of beads, a pair of black plastic eyes, and liquid silicone.

Para esta segunda parte de la muñequita Tinkerbell, solo usé el hilo verde y amarillo, la aguja para crochet #2, la aguja lanera, un poquito de relleno, tijeras, un par de perlas, un par de ojos de plástico negros y silicona líquida.

PROCESS/PROCESO:

The hair is made in three parts:

• The wig that will cover the scalp.
• The bun.
• The fringe.

Let's go with the wig that is going to cover the scalp. There are some main strands and on each strand, there are some more strands, did I make myself clear 😆? That's why it looks like long-rolled pasta.

El cabello está hecho en tres partes:

• La peluca que cubrirá el cuero cabelludo.
• El moño.
• El flequillo.

Vamos con la peluca que va a cubrir el cuero cabelludo. Hay unas cadenas principales y en cada cadena hay otras cadenas más ¿Me expliqué bien 😆? Por eso es que se ve así como pasta larga enrollada.

Making the bow was easy, I only made 6 single crochets in a magic ring, the rest of the loops are just increased.

Hacer el moño sí fue fácil, solo hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo mágico, las demás vueltas solo son aumentos.

For the fringe, there were also chains, only this one has 4 rows of single crochet, half doubles crochet stitches and double crochet stitches.

Para el flequillo también fueron cadenas, solo que esta lleva 4 vueltas de puntos bajos, medios puntos altos y puntos altos.

Now comes the most complicated part for me ha, ha, ha, ha. And the thing is that honestly I love knitting, but when it comes to joining each part I don't like to do it very much. Because I don't have the right knitting needle and the stuffing I use is wadding, it's very hard for me to put it in to join the parts and/or embroider, and my little fingers get very sore. First, I placed it with the help of the pins how the wig would go on the scalp, then I sewed it. Then I made a mini bun with the wig, filled in a little bit of the bun I made separately, and hid the mini bun I had made before. Before sewing the bun, I sewed the bangs. I hope I explained myself well 😆, in the pictures you can understand better. Finally, I made some chains and sewed them to the bow, as if it were a tail. I glued the pair of eyes with liquid silicone.

Ahora viene lo más complicado para mí ja, ja, ja. Y es que, sinceramente me fascina mucho tejer, pero a la hora de unir cada parte no me gusta mucho hacerlo. Porque no tengo la aguja lanera correcta y el relleno que uso es guata, por lo que me cuesta muchísimo meterla para unir las partes y/o bordar, y me quedan doliendo mucho mis deditos. Primero, coloqué con ayuda de los alfileres cómo iría en el cuero cabelludo la peluca, luego la cosí. Después hice un mini moño con la peluca, rellené un poco el moño que hice aparte y escondí el mini moño que había hecho anteriormente. Antes de coser el moño, cosí el flequillo. Espero haberme explicado bien 😆, en las imágenes se entiende mejor. Por último hice unas cadenetas y la cosí al moño, como sí fuera una cola. Le pegué el par de ojos con silicona líquida.

I made the shoes with chain stitches and two loops of single crochet stitches. I sewed them to her feet, and also sewed on some small pearls.

Hice los zapatos con cadenetas y dos vueltas de puntos bajos. Las cosí a sus pies, y también le cosí unas pequeñas perlas.

I had forgotten that the Fairies have wings and I had to make them at night and that's why I couldn't write the post to publish it earlier today, Monday. I had to improvise to make them, as the pattern was confusing on this part too. I then attached the wings and then sewed them to the body.

Se me había olvidado que las Hadas tienen alas y tuve que hacerlas en la noche y por eso no pude escribir el post para publicarlo hoy lunes más temprano. Tuve que improvisar para hacerlas, ya que el patrón estaba confuso en esta parte también. Después uní las alas y luego las cosí al cuerpo.
