RE: Celebrating a retirement and contemplating my own

That was nice what you did for your friend and I'm sure they enjoyed it too.

Good pub food is hard to beat, but I understand about the noise. We have lots of restaurants around here, but one that a lot of people like, Texas Road House, I don't care if I never get invited out to go back there. The food is fine enough, but every time I have ever been there, it was SO loud, that conversations are hard to enjoy. You might enjoy a chat with whoever sits beside you (maybe), but a table of 6 and hearing anything that goes on on the other end, impossible !

It sounds like you should start thinking up Plan B for the retirement. Then, if Plan A CRYPTO actually happens, it would just be icing on the retirement cake.

We have a couple Texas Roadhouses around us, but I have never been to one before. I hear the yeast rolls are pretty amazing. I get what you are saying. I have attention issues as it is, put me in a situation like that and I am lost!
