#My Hive Goals - On Target With One Goal and Ahead of Schedule With Three.
Things started getting busy as I became more active over the past few weeks.
Yes, we all have 24 hours (or 1440 minutes in a day), but I find myself at the point where I need to take stock of exactly where I am spending my time and on what.
In other words, time management is becoming more and more important in my Hive activities. There is nothing negative about this. It is a good thing and I am getting more and more excited about it.
I have added the TOGGLE TRACK button to my BRAVE browser to make it easier to monitor exactly where my time is going. This should make planning easier as soon as I can see exactly where my time is going.
Up until now, I have blocked time out on my Google calendar, but I find I start getting sidetracked as I want to push just a little more when I am running out of time.
This means that at times I am also sitting at the computer for too long without taking breaks to move around. I have activated a setting (on TOGGLE) to give me a notification when I have been sitting at the computer after 25 minutes. Then it's time to just get up, move around for 3 to 5 minutes, and then I can carry on with work again.
But I will discuss the need for physical activity in another post shortly.
For now, let's get into #myhivegoals and see how it's going.
As today is the first day of a new month, it would be nice to measure my progress on monthly targets.
Note: I currently use my CTP, POB, and ALIVE income to also boost my Hive income. I use 50% of the income generated from these tokens to convert them to Hive and I stake the remaining 50% in the Hive-Engine.
1000 Hive Power
I had some nice and steady growth again over the past week, adding just under 8 HP to my balance during the week.
I transferred 50% of the value of some of my tokens (see the note above) to Hive.
But during September, I had some nice growth in my liquid Hive as well. Together with the growth that I've had over the month, I was able to power up with 50 Hive this morning to give my HP balance a nice boost.
That took my HP balance to 361.584.
As you can see on the graph above, not only did it take me beyond my target for September, it took me just over my target for October 2021.
My target for this month (October 2021) is 352.5 HP.
That means that I made the target for this month on the very first day of the month...lol!
With my balance now at (let's just round it off) 361 HP, it means...
1000 - 361 = 639 to go!
5000 CTP (Staked)
Another drop in my CTP income and I was able to only stake 32.5 CTP tokens
The drop in CTP income might be due to my involvement in various projects at the moment. But that doesn't mean my CTP goal is moving to the background. I am very positive about the CTP token due to its use case and the people involved with it (the community included).
I am still well ahead of schedule, so I am not too concerned about not being able to achieve my goal by the due date that I have set for myself.
I have already passed the target 4750 CTP for November 2021 and I'm well on my way to reach my goal of 5000 CTP by the end of December 2021.
My current staked balance is 4801.744 CTP.
5000 - 4801.744 = 198.256 to go!
250 POB (Staked)
It went very well with my POB income and I managed to add 22 POB tokens to my staked balance.
I am 3 POB tokens away from hitting my November target of 211 POB tokens staked.
My current balance is 209 POB tokens staked, which is 83.71% of my goal.
250 - 209 = 40 to go!
250 Alive (Staked)
I was able to stake 10 more tokens (4 more than last week).
My target for September 2021 was 154.75 ALIVE tokens staked.
My current staked balance is 156.25 tokens, which means I have met my target for September.
I can now start working towards my target for November.
But as far as the goal for 2021 is concerned...
250 - 156.25 = 93.75 to go!
Hive-Engine Projects
The projects I'm looking at on the Hive-Engine might undergo some re-shuffling.
I will still keep my Index tokens and let them do their work.
I have also noticed some other projects which are slowly but surely starting to build some passive income for me in the background.
I was pleasantly surprised by what I have got going. But currently, my main focus is on my active income.
The other Hive-Engine projects can run in the background and start doing their thing but are currently still too small to discuss any movement every week.
I'll keep working and building on them in the background, but maybe give a monthly update on their progress.
Other Projects and Targets.
Over the past week, I have been introduced to quite a few new projects, challenges, platforms, and challenges by some very friendly and helpful community members.
I am busy investigating these as I believe they can be very helpful in creating new and relative content regularly in the future.
My current stats on posting and commenting is also still on course.
I expect it (especially the comments stats) to start evening out over the next few days, but as long as I can maintain consistency in that area, I'll be happy.
So, that's it for the progress on my goals for this week.
Are you making satisfactory progress on your goals? Is everything on target for this year's goals with the end of 2021 approaching us at full speed?
Let us know in the comment section below.
Thank you for reading my post.
Great to see your progress! It's nice that you managed to power up 50 Hive in one day. This will pay off in the long run through additional curation rewards!
Thank you for your encouraging comment, Achim. I really do appreciate all your support and encouragement I get through your comments!
Great progress on your goals. I like the way you knocked out your October Hive goal on day 1 of the month. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for the encouragement. I really do appreciate it!
Yes, I was pleasantly surprised myself when I saw what happened with my Hive goal in 1 day... I had to double-check to actually believe what I was seeing...lol.
Great, I appreciate your efforts and hope the next #powerupday will be even bigger. I have just started doing it for the last three months, 32,50, and 134 respectively. Wish you all the best!
Wow! That's impressive!
Thank you for your kind words and for the good wishes. I really do appreciate it!
Not sure I've got specific goals on hive than to just keep building my influence which includes making new friends, growing my stakes, engagement, and making content. As far as growing my stakes is concerned, I just take them as them come without any specific target on my mind.
I believe goals are unique to every individual. From what I read in your comment, everything you do is based on growth. So, in my opinion, growth might as well be considered to be a goal. As long as you can see growth (whether it is in friends, growth in stakes, content, or whatever), as long as you can see growth, the goal is achieved.
Thank you for stopping by and for giving your input. I do appreciate it!
Great progress on your goals
I am not sure I have ever set specific goals for myself on hive I. Regards to give power and such
I must admit I am terrible with the tokens I seldom look to see what I have
My focus has been more on trying to improve the quality of my posts and having good interactions with other people on the community
That all said I think setting goals is perhaps something I should have been doing from early on
I found my way here via #dreemport
Thank you, @tattoodjay.
Yes, it varies from person to person. The main thing is that you should enjoy doing it. It shouldn't be a burden.
Personally, I enjoy setting goals as it serves as a measuring tool to see if I am making any progress.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts on the topic. I really do appreciate it!
Ad thank you to @dreemport for sending you here!

Hello @jacoalberts. You are doing nicely in your progress. Your balances are increasing at a good pace. You have set specific goals for yourself. That is a first step. I have several projects I'm involved in at the moment that take up a lot of my time. I'm trying to cut back so that I can focus on only a few I truly care about. Splitting my time between online and offline is key.
I have watched my tokens and coins grow at a slow pace. I'm more focused on saving than investing at the moment. I participate in the Saturday Savers Club handled by @shanibeer over on the @eddie-earner account each Saturday. We share tips and ideas on how to accomplish specific savings goals.
Thanks for sharing your goals and how you're accomplishing them.

Thank you for the kind words, @justclickindiva! I do appreciate it.
It sounds like a good idea to cut back a little and be able to rather focus on those you truly care about!
Your Saturday Savers Club sounds really interesting. I am quite busy myself at the moment but that sounds like something I might be looking at too. Thanks for telling me about it!
Thanks for stopping by and for your good wishes. I always enjoy reading your comments!
And thank you to @dreemport for bringing you here!
