#MyHiveGoals - Two Weeks To Go In 2021

Green Cream Photo Summer Facebook Cover.png

Two weeks to go before we will be heading into the New Year.

One would expect things to start slowing down towards the end of the year...

Well, over the past two weeks I experienced quite the opposite...

I don't say that in a negative sense though, it's just that there are things that need to get done, unexpected things keep popping up, and everything demands time...lol.

This week, Monday and Tuesday weren't too bad. But on Wednesday I had to go out to attend to some personal matters and someone I know also had a crisis and I had to spend some time assisting there too.

Yesterday was a public holiday here in South Africa and we spent some time with our children celebrating the day.

Yet, the normal schedule also needs to continue and it kind of becomes a balancing act...which is sometimes easier said than done...lol.

It also seems that I will have to put on my thinking cap regarding some of my goals in the next few weeks and make some decisions.

So, let's see what is happening with #myhive goals.

1000 Hive Power.

Growth slowed down a bit during the past week, but the movement was still there.

I've had an increase over the last week of 3.64 HP, but looking at the graph below it's clear that I'm still way ahead of schedule. This took my HP balance to 516.628 HP

As mentioned last week, I would just like to see how (or where) the Hive price is going to stabilize before I start adjusting this goal.

1000 - 516.628 = 483.372 to go!

As mentioned last week, I also want to start monitoring my Effective Hive Power to see how it moves and what the impact is on my other goals.

Over the past week, my Effective Hive Power increased from 519.31 to 523.28.

10'000 CTP Staked.

Over the last week, I earned some CTP tokens, but I did not stake any. So, the graph will still be the same as last week.

This is where I need to put my thinking cap on. Last week @achimo3 gave some awesome advice to look at the CTP Power Up Challenge to help boost this goal of mine.

I was just about to do that when I became aware of a new project that will be launched by CTP. The big announcement is expected to be made on January 13, 2022. Apparently, you will need some liquid CTP tokens for this project...

So...do I start pushing harder to achieve my CTP staking goal, or do I hang on to my CTP tokens first, in liquid form, to learn more about this new Bow Tie project from CTP?

10'000 - 5312.875 = 4687.125 to go!

1500 POB Staked.

This goal was recently adjusted to 1500 POB staked.

10 - POB Goal.JPG

I managed to increase my staked balance to just over 612 POB tokens staked, which means I am now working towards my target for February 2022.

That means I am now considering adjusting this goal once again, by moving it up to have 2000 POB tokens staked.

1500 - 612 = 888 to go!

1000 Alive Staked.

My growth for last week was a bit on the slow side. But I think I am to be blamed as I had my focus scattered all over the place with many different things going on and even in my personal life, I just had a hectic schedule.

11 - Alive Goal.JPG

My balance is now 406.859 Alive tokens staked and I am approaching the target for January 2022, which is 412 tokens staked. With the balance of the liquid tokens in my wallet, I can already make the target and actually surpass my January target.

So, this is another goal to be adjusted within the next week or so.

1000 - 406.859 = 593.141 to go!

Other Projects and Targets.

My comments came up from last week's 181 to 199 this week. It's still not where I want to see it, but I should be able to get it up soon.

Over the next two weeks, I will take a bit slower and enjoy some family time with my family too with just about everybody being on leave at the moment and even some family coming down to the coast to visit with us.

That doesn't mean I will come to a complete halt, I will just take a bit slower and easier...

Are all your goals wrapped up for this year? Let us know in the comment section below, I would love to hear from you!

That's it for #myhivegoals for this week.

Thank you for reading my post. I do appreciate it.

Every little bit helps! You just have to compound what you can. Keep hustling and you will hit your goals, but don’t beat yourself up if you don’t hit them.

That is very good advice! And especially the part about "not beating yourself up when you don't hit your goals", that is very important indeed.

I really appreciate this input from you, thank you!
