To begin my reflection, I want to bring a maxim of Socrates, the great Greek philosopher to whom this great truth is attributed, at least for me: Knowledge will set us free, these words have been key throughout my life, because they lead me directly to raise the dilemma between Having or Being, and thus answer the question of the challenge that is proposed to us from my perspective, for this I will focus my answer by breaking down 3 edges: Having, Being and Knowledge.

The culture of Having and that of Being go in opposite directions, the having points towards the material and exterior, on the other hand the Being lies in the most intimate of man, the interior and sensitive, knowledge is the mortar that can mix the best of both worlds, but this mixture is something unusual since each component is a way of learning, knowledge is the result of knowing therefore it is a process of growth by way of the intellect. knowledge is the mortar that can mix the best of both worlds, but this mixture is something unusual since each component is a way of learning, knowledge is the result of knowing therefore it is a process of growth by the way of the intellect (from the Latin to choose well), emotional and sentimental because man learns unconsciously and consciously, man needs to know to survive and only transcends when he transmutes (change of state, from the internal) by the way of who he is, this leads us to deduce that the Being is the cornerstone of man, in my particular case I live every day to Be not to have, if one is not, nothing can be had. The inner man is where the Being resides, if we feed him constantly we will see changes in the outer man, and the world could be a better environment, we should cultivate more the Being than the Having.
