avatar

Good afternoon hivers..let talk on how to cut an African style,i hope you will understand through my illustration. The process of cutting an African style. Is not a long process just that firstly you have to take the person measurements.. for example the length of the top 23 you will add 3 for the turn up after then you will measure the back and you will divide it into 2 so you can be able to cut it, then you will measure the sleve that's the hand you will now subtract the back measurement from the hand to make it balance... This the result of what i explained.

To get the bust measurement you will have to divide the bust by 4 to get the measurement.and there is this common cap this Yoruba people do wear on the African style it is called (fila abetiaja)in Yoruba this one might seem difficult to cut cause you have to fold the cloth into four place then.. you will divide the length you measure on the head of the owner into 2 then you will add 1 to it for the sowing allowance to make it accurate.. will cutting it you will use 16 for the height and the owners head for the wilderness hope you are getting it.
