MY MOTIVATION

Success is the best revenge.

I heard this statement some time ago when a friend of mine was passing through a very serious situation. He had some opponents limiting his progress and he didn't know just how best to return the revenge.

He had to make up his mind to overcome every limitation that he faced proving them wrong.

In his life, there were so many reasons to have given up, he chose to push despite the words that he received not being encouraging.

I have learnt a lot from him and I'm choosing to use this story as my point of motivation in this post.

No matter what I face or pass through in life I always tell myself that somebody depends on my success. I may not know who or when my success will play an important role in somebody's life but I make sure that I don't fail them even before I met them.

There are people I depend on for their success for me to succeed and whatever it is whether I like it or not if they fail I will be a terrible failure as well. This is why I pray for direction.

For every time anyone succeeds it takes some form of courage and adventure. There are always parts of the story that do not seem to be recognized and are often not celebrated as much as the trophy is. People just see the accolades and think that is all the story there is.

But fortunately I learned to look deep into personalities and how they rose to the place of celebration. They took the bull by the horns, got the scratches, got the blame, got the hurts and the but names, but they all overcame.

When limitations come to prove you wrong or to even insult you and call you names, the best response is not to retaliate just the same way they are attacking you but to develop a thick skin toward them as a distraction and to create your survival and winning scheme.

Don't ever get into a fight and forget the trophy, always count the cost, so fights can push you further away from the trophy than you thought.

Keep going, don't stop, keep working, don't stop, keep moving, don't stop.

The moment you stop is the moment you failed. The time you quit is the last whistle. If anything is worth doing then it's worth doing well and to the finish, if you were going to quit, you probably never should have started.

I will always encourage myself to reach the heights that I imagine myself to be and it may not be what other people think of me if I have a mind of my own and the thoughts that I desire for myself.

I will always pray to God the maker and creator of my destiny to guide my parts and lead me to men and women who know it.

I've realised that whatever it is I want to achieve in life I'm probably not the first person to do it. I will need men to help me, elders to show me, and mentors to guide me. And it is God that brings them to me.

My biggest motivation is love, the way that I see it, it's the only reason why we all have a purpose. God so loved the world that he gave his Son so that we might have life and have it more meaningful. There is no meaning to my life without the love of God.
