I really enjoyed your story, @ghazale64. I would put it in the category of magical realism — a genre that contains very "every day" and realistic details, but with some elements of fantasy. Nicely done!

All the destroying conflicts were gone and she was like a newborn baby with a tabula rasa as clear as the seawater to write her life story on it.

I had to look that up. Wikipedia says "Tabula rasa is the theory that individuals are born without built-in mental content, and therefore all knowledge comes from experience or perception." Interesting!
