What is your start up song?

So this morning, local radio host Sidney Grunberg played off this song with the words 'This is to get you going'

For me 'Fly as me' is an instant mood changer. It gets you hyped up to get started, builds up your confidence, and leaves you with a good mood when it is all set and done.

Which got me thinking, which song gives me a similar effect?

As this isn't a planned list, but more part of a new writing habit I'm building up, I'll be sharing a couple of songs that come to mind straight away when it comes to 'getting started', especially early in the morning, in no particular order.

1. Fort Minor - Remember the name

This is ten percent luck
Twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure
Fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name

If you haven't heard of Fort Minor before, you might have heard of Mike Shinoda, its founder and better known as the MC of Linkin Park. The song was featured by the NBA for the 2006 and 2007 the NBA Playoffs. Remember the name is as much of a cult song as it can be for those that are ready to grind to go for working towards building your legacy.

2. Pharrell - Entrepreneur

If you are an entrepreneur and this song doesn't get you hyped up to get stuff done, I don't know what will. At least for me, it takes me to my 'go do' mode straight away.

3. Prodigy - Warrior's Dance

This one might be a little to wild for most people, but as a former athlete and sports lover, I'm surprised there aren't more sports teams using this song as part of their pre-game routine.

This is the list that popped up straight in my head as I wrote this. There are most likely many others I would consider depending on the day and time I wrote this.
