Definition of Portfolio: This is a combination of assets which an investor owns or holds as an investment in expectation of a fixed return or variable return or a combination of both fixed and variable returns.

In managing portfolios for efficiency, certain theories have been developed by financial and/or investment professionals, the application of which leads to the creation of value.

A combination of cryptocurencies held by any individual is a virtual asset portfolio which can also be managed efficiently and effectively by the application of some basic portfolio management principles.

Since we are blogging from a blockchain and cryptocurrency social media enabling platform, we shall be publishing this series under the cryptocurrency community.

The idea is to leverage fundamental practices in the management of assets in the capital market and money market for value optimization in the cryptocurrency market.
