Escape the Ordinary

Every year, my goal is to go someplace I’ve never been but because of the pandemic, I wasn’t able to explore places around my country, the Philippines. The goal was to explore if not all 81 provinces in the Philippines at least half of it before I reached my 40s but unfortunately I was stuck for more than 2 years without any travel outside my hometown. Instead of being locked down, I revised my goal during the pandemic and this time the goal is to explore all 44 municipalities in my hometown Cebu.
One of which is the municipality of Dalaguete known as the “Summer Capital of Southern Cebu”. The place has a lot to offer especially if you’re into hikes. Well, since I’m not the fit to go on long treks and hikes, I prefer to try their latest mountain resort the 150 Peakway. The resort offers a glamping staycation however during our visit to the place there was a conflict with our booking so we weren’t able to stay in one of their glamping huts instead they gave us their suite room. At that time, there were still ongoing constructions to the resort but the place looked beautiful. The pool looks tempting but it was so cold we only swam for less than a half hour. They have their own restaurant and the food was perfectly good although the service was a bit slow maybe because at that time they were still on a soft opening.
I’ll definitely go back to 150 Peakway Mountain Resort so I can fulfill my goal to experience the fullness of Dome-living in the mountain. For a more detailed review of the place, you may want to check my YT Channel
