Family Time Out

Another municipality in Cebu that we visited is Boljoon. It’s known for its historical church, the Patrocino de Maria Parish Church perfectly situated at the foot of a hill, facing the Bohol Strait. The very reason why we are in Boljoon is to take a break from city life. We wanted to experience beach life in the province and Boljoon is also famous for whale shark watching activities but we didn’t have the time to do this activity because we only have a day in this place. We stayed at Palanas by the Sea just close to the town proper. This place is known for its refreshing pool and sun-drenched beachfront. They also have a mini playground for the kids and toddlers to enjoy.
Overall, the place is perfect for huge families and friends taking a break from city life because they have dormitory type of rooms that can accommodate up to 12 persons. They also allow bringing of food and drinks without a corkage fee and you can use their kitchen with a minimal fee.
We had a great family time out even if we need to travel 4 hours back to the city.
