Swing by the Moment

Do you sometimes struggle to see the positives and often wallow in negative thoughts? In fact, I’m guilty of such an attitude. How do I move forward and overcome it? Well, I just take myself away somewhere quiet and take some time for myself.
One of the things that I love to do is to be with nature and take a moment of appreciating its beauty. It somehow helps me relax my mind and focus on the things that I set. This man-made swing that I discovered is one of the peaceful areas in Formosa Camp Resort in Tuburan, one of the municipalities in Cebu. It was never my intention to go on swimming because the very reason why I’m at Formosa was to attend my friend’s wedding. But then, as I check the resort, I was truly amazed to see this cute swing along the mangroves so I told myself that I will spend my time here after the wedding. I don’t have a plan to swim with the mangroves around (fear of some snakes LOL) but I definitely enjoy swinging while breathing fresh air. It is utterly, a very nice feeling and it really calms me. After my moments on the swing, that’s the time I decided to join my friends at the pool.
It was a nice experience, but it would have been nicer if we really had camped on the site. Well, maybe next time who knows, right?
