Tour at Rainbow Village
During our trip to Taiwan, we visited Taichung City and spent two nights in the city for tours and shopping. One of our itineraries is to visit the very famous Rainbow Village located in the Nantun District. This village is very known to tourists with very unique, artistic designs of their houses. Although the place is smaller than what I expected, still we enjoyed our tour knowing the interesting and historical stories of each house.
This is a great place to take stylish photos because everything you see is very colorful. I recommend that if you want to visit Rainbow Village make sure to be very early because it does get crowded when tour buses arrive. This village doesn’t have an admission fee and it opens as early as 8:00 in the morning so that’s what we targeted that time when we visit it.
Oh like I said it’s smaller than what I expected because you will be disappointed if you think it’s really a village but in reality, there were just a few houses painted with different kinds of art and shapes.
Overall, I was happy to visit the place and I’m wondering if our country can have the same concept because it’s really interesting and cute to know the historical background of a certain place through the concept of creating colorful houses.
