August Hive Power Up Day and Monthly Goals
As usual, the first of the month is it means it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. So it's time to check up on my goals and make sure to set my next month's goal.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the August HPUD by "@"traciyork. Last month was a fairly good month and I was able to earn around 206 HP. I didn't hit my goal exactly but it's still pretty good either way.
My current HP before powering up is 3,697 HP and I plan on powering up 25 HIVE again this month. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.
Follow up on my Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2022 and you can see the seventh addition of 65.01 HBD. While the price of Hive on going up, I did not change out anything. I did convert a little bit of HBD over to Hive during the HBD pump. The Hive pump is good because I should be able to earn a little bit more HBD for the next few months.

Here I will review the goals I set for my July goals.
I took part in Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and staked the 200 LEO I need for my goal. Unfortunately, I did not hit my HP goal for the month so I will revise accordingly this month.
I didn't get my INDEX order filled so I decided to place another order for tt and it will cover next month's as well.
I did my monthly CUB add for last month and this month. I invested 400 LEO into the CUB/bHBD pool. The new pools look sweet and I don't see any reason to not join in on the fun if I was planning to invest the LEO anyways.
Ever since I started putting down a rank goal for Rising Star, I think this is the closest I have gotten to being pushed out of the top 75. I am still cutting it close because I did not have as much time to play the game. I should be focusing more on trying to improve my own time played.
August goals
I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.
- 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
- 1,000 comments for the month
- 3,900 HP
- 3,100 Leo Power Staked (add 200 LEO)
- Buy 25 INDEX
- Invest at least 200 LEO to the CUB-related Defi platforms
- Maintain top 75 ranks in Rising Star
- Get at least 1 chest per day for Splinterlands focus
The reasoning for these can be found in my January goals. For the most part, I just plan on continuing these goals as they seem manageable.
Conclusion
There isn't too much going on but I powered up and set my goals for the upcoming month.

I powered up today too, posted about it and grew a bit more. I’m not setting goals as they are just going to fast I think hehehe I did set one goal though or hope more to reach it. Reaching 70 rep before I’m a year old… I reached already 69,4 reputation. But I do know too, it can take a while… we will see.

Thank you. I think Hive has a lot of potential and I just need to take the time to build it. On a side note, LEO seems a bit cheaper so I think I will probably buy some for the LEO power up day.

You're making steady progress, it's great to see.
I am not worried about the 1k comment goal as I tend to make around 300 a week usually. So it's more of a way to make sure I don't skip out on some days and it's all up to me to get that done.

It's been a tough fight for the rankings and it's definitely tough right now. I haven't been able to focus on missions lately.
