Hive Power Up Day and June Monthly Goal of 2023

As usual, the first of the month is it means it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. So it's time to check up on my goals and make sure to set my next month's goal. Four months are up and there are 8 left in the year. So it's almost half of the year done already. Time flies by so fast and when this month ends, half of the year will be up.

More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the June HPUD by "@"traciyork. I don't really qualify for rewards anymore but I will still power up each month as part of my general monthly task. This month, I earned 356 HP and this is worst than last month. It's not that far off compared to last month but it's still good regardless. It's a slow process but I am slowly building up more and more HP and HBD.

My current HP before powering up is 7,003 HP and I plan on powering up 10 HIVE this month. I am continuing with 10 HP for now and my HBD goal is pretty much complete because I only need to wait for the interest payments. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.

My Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2023 is pretty much my hive goals for 2023. So this portion of HBD has been moved towards my weekly updates towards my goals and my latest update can be found here. I am on track for all my goals so I feel comfortable with how my numbers are going so far.

Here I will set my goals for the month and review my previous month's goals.

Previous Month Summary

Here I will review the goals I set for my May goals. My Hive goals went well and I surpassed my goal without any issues.

I took part in Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and staked the 200 LEO I need for my goal. With this, I only need 200 LEO per month to reach my goal. I also managed to get the 3 posts per week done without too many issues. The comments were well past 1k because of my being active in threads and the zealy campaign. The weekend battle a week ago was rough but I did manage to slay the four bosses even if my hands hurt from all the typing.

My INDEX order from last month filled and I was able to collect the missing 50 INDEX. I placed an order for another 25 on the market for this month and I will check on it next month. I am still able to get that Splinterlands chests without too many issues in the Silver league but the rewards are very lacking. I am a bit disappointed with no Chaos Legion packs from my chests at all over the past month. So I am planning to move up to Gold rank eventually once I level up some of my cards. I did change things around for my season-end chests as I advanced on the last day of the season. It's being pushed by some of my other purchases because Zyriel and the DEC-burning event have also been sucking my extra HBD.

May goals

I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.

1. 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
2. 1,000 comments for the month
3. 7,200 HP
4. 6,500 Leo Power Staked (add 200 LEO)
5. Buy 25 INDEX
6. Get at least 1 chest per day for Splinterlands focus

I have yet to set my total goals for 2023 but am cutting back some of them and leaving it at this.

Conclusion

Like usual, I am just doing my usual activities on Hive at night. It's always good to look back and make sure that my own goals are on track. Showing up each day matters and it has been paying off. I am doing quite well toward my own goals and I am slightly ahead for most of them. In a way, I am outperforming my goals by quite a bit so far and I hope it stays that way. So long as I am consistent, I believe that it will stay that way.
