July Hive Power Up Day and Monthly Goals
As usual, the first of the month is it means it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. So ito check up on my goals and make sure to set my next month's goal.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the July HPUD by "@"traciyork. Last month was a fairly good month and I was able to earn around 198 HP. It's been a bit tough to engage lately as work has picked up and I am focusing on a work-related project right now. It will take a little bit longer until I actually have time to fix things though.
My current HP before powering up is 3,465 HP and I plan on powering up 25 HIVE again this month. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.
Follow up on my Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2022 and you can see the fifth addition of 50.25 HBD. The price of Hive has dropped a lot since last month so I haven't been adding much to my savings in the middle of the month.

Here I will set my goals for the month and review my previous month's goals.

I took part in Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and staked the 200 LEO I need for my goal. Unfortunately, I did not hit my HP goal for the month so I will revise accordingly this month.
I did not keep track of my comment count but I know that I have been doing above 50 per day on average so I am above my goals. I did manage to buy my 10 UTOPIS but I am wondering what will happen to this project. In a recent post, the creator of UTOPIS has considered closing down the project.
I did not do my monthly CUB add this month but I do have the LEO available. With work creeping up on me, it was my fault for not doing so as I did have the LEO available. I do plan on doing so in the next few days to make up for this.
Ever since I started putting down a rank goal for Rising Star, I think this is the closest I have gotten to being pushed out of the top 75. I am curreranked rank at 71 and I haven't been able to time my own missions.
May goals
I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.
- 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
- 1,000 comments for the month
- 3,700 HP
- 2,900 Leo Power Staked (add 200 LEO)
- Buy 25 INDEX
- Invest at least 400 LEO to the CUB-related Defi platforms (200 for last month and 200 for this month)
- Maintain top 75 ranks in Rising Star
- Get at least 1 chest per day for Splinterlands focus
The reasoning for these can be found in my January goals. For the most part, I just plan on continuing these goals as they seem manageable. I just decided to do UTOPIS again as it seems easier to fill these orders and I think having fiat money come into Hive helps.
Conclusion
There isn't too much going on but I powered up and set my goals for the upcoming month.

I don't know what's happening with Utopis, but it's been a tough month indeed, I did power up this month, but it wasn't as I would have wanted it. July would be a better month

I hope July is better for you and it really sucks that UTOPIS isn't going well. I thought it was a great idea as he would take advantage of mining and gig work. However, with the bear market and the oversaturation in the gig market, it's not earning as much as it did in the past.

It's hard but I just have to make sure I come back more often to time my missions. I really don't want to fall out from under it and I am starting to cut it close.
