I guess the earnings tend to be different for everyone and I usually get about 10k or so per season. So I think 34k or even 40k is definitely a great return for the season.

It all depend upon the level of account and skills. Mine is much less (around 6-8 K) but I have level 5 account vs max account used in this post.

It certainly depends a lot on what League you manage to play in, these returns also don't seem to factor in the 20,000 DEC I've got from my top 50 finish.
