I4I #23 - Reset Go

I've been very consistent throughout my time on HIVE regarding the middle of the week and how I use it to assess, reassess, compound or pivot accordingly. It's my deep breath moment to get my ass in gear if I'm slacking knowing that I still have time to crush the week or if I'm hitting it on all cylinders then I keep it on grind mode.

BUT, when mid-week is on the first day of the month then you know shit is on a next level of evaluating where you are at the present time and was the previous month successful in your eyes or do you think it could have been better?

Those are life affirming moments for me. As I've gotten older and having to learn patience and remaining consistent are what has held me to continue my health and fitness journey through the bad times and the good times.

Along with getting back to focusing on more protein and other consumable management, I got through the month of January workouts feeling like the old Jimmy again. Not 100% back to beast mode status, but I'm knocking on that door. Ran an All Out today at 11 miles per hour which has been a while since I was able to reach that speed and now aiming to run a 12mph in the next few weeks as I used to do that at least once in every session and multiple times depending on the template.

It's an important part of my wife Tiffany and my life, so our health and fitness journeys are front and center to how we operate as a couple and as individuals. Contant battles that we are more than happy to partake in daily for years.

That of course is no difference to whatever journey I'm on, such as another important part of my daily life - HIVE. I am still showing up everyday and doing whatever it takes to not miss a day. I'm working on building my attention currency as that works well with my time limitations. Working on remaining visible on this blockchain with the plethora of options like LikeTu, which is there for us to do just that.

My quote for today and in honor of the mid-week/first day of the month:

"Just take it as a beautiful chance for you to rebuild yourself.
