Tengo la suerte de vivir en una ciudad coqueta y hermosa, lo que la hace única es la calidad de sus construcciones y la mezcla de estilos; La ubicación estrategia de nuestra ciudad atrajo la presencia de inmigrantes de varios países del mundo, que aportaron calidad de mano de obra en las construcciones. Las fachadas de nuestras edificaciones dejan ver el esmero y la dedicación con que fueron hechos. La disposición de la ciudad se lo debemos a los primeros colonizadores indígenas, quienes preferenciaron la costa del ¨Paranᨠpara establecerse; Sin dudas es el principal atractivo de nuestra ciudad; Habernos establecido a la vera del rio nos permitió construir una enorme costanera de más de 10 kilómetros que sirvió para unir a la ciudad con la naturaleza

The facades of our buildings show the care and dedication with which they were made. La construcción de la costanera fue una verdadera hazaña de la arquitectura, conseguir contener las caudalosas aguas del ¨rio¨¨Paranᨠfue un verdadero desafío para la época; La construcción fue tan bien hecha que después de casi noventa años sigue siendo muy funcional; Desde que tengo memoria, nunca tuvimos un inconveniente con la contención del rio. A lo largo de los diez kilómetros se puede apreciar diferentes complejos creados y pensado para el uso y satisfacción de los ciudadanos; Hay algunos lugares identificados por importantes instituciones como es el ¨paso¨ de la ¨misericordia¨ y números espacios públicos que son utilizados con reunión social

The construction of the waterfront was a true feat of architecture, managing to contain the mighty waters of the ¨rio¨¨Paranᨠwas a real challenge for the time; The construction was so well done that after almost ninety years it is still very functional; As long as I can remember, we never had a problem with the containment of the river. Throughout the ten kilometers you can see different complexes created and designed for the use and satisfaction of citizens; There are some places identified by important institutions such as the ¨passo¨ of ¨mercy¨ and several public spaces that are used with social gatherings
La arquitectura cumple un rol fundamental en la identidad de las ciudades; Si los edificios pudieran hablar contaría historias de su creación y el vínculo emocional que han tenido con sus diferentes dueños a través de los años. Los pequeños apliques de su construcción, más allá de lo distintivo nos puede decir el origen de su constructor, incluso el año de su construcción. Estas son las cosas que me gustan de mi ciudad, que a pesar del paso del tiempo, hay detalles únicos en las construcciones de época que nos dan un indicio de su estilo y quienes con mucho cariño lo construyeron

Architecture plays a fundamental role in the identity of cities; If buildings could talk, they would tell stories of their creation and the emotional bond they have had with their different owners over the years. The small sconces of its construction, beyond the distinctive, can tell us the origin of its builder, even the year of its construction. These are the things that I like about my city, that despite the passage of time, there are unique details in the period buildings that give us an indication of its style and those who built it with great affection
Los edificios de época son mi pasión, muchas de las edificaciones pertenecieron a personas influyentes de nuestra ciudad; Viejas casonas con un alto valor emocional por la historia que guardan sus rincones, por todo lo que nos puede decir sus fachadas de las manos creadores, del año en que fueron construidas y para quienes fueron construidas; No muchas ciudades de Argentina tiene este encanto histórico en sus edificaciones; La ciudad de Corrientes fue bendecida al ser una buena opción para los inmigrantes que nos obsequiaron sus enorme conocimientos en las construcciones de los edificios de época de mi ciudad.

Period buildings are my passion, many of the buildings belonged to influential people in our city; Old mansions with a high emotional value due to the history that their corners keep, for all that their facades can tell us from the hands of creators, the year they were built and for whom they were built; Not many cities in Argentina have this historical charm in their buildings; The city of Corrientes was blessed to be a good option for immigrants who gave us their enormous knowledge in the construction of period buildings in my city.
Lo que siempre admire de los arquitectos que hicieron el replanteo de la ciudad, fue la consideración que tuvieron con la naturaleza, que convive armoniosamente con las edificaciones actuales; En cierta medida siguieron el ejemplo de nuestros ancestros al construir inicialmente la ciudad en medio de naturaleza

What I always admired about the architects who did the redesign of the city, was the consideration they had with nature, which coexists harmoniously with current buildings; To some extent they followed the example of our ancestors when initially building the city in the middle of nature

Hello @jlufer. The architects of your city have certainly made the right decision of harmonizing its buildings with the natural environment. The waterfront development is not an easy project, and it's definitely a breath of fresh air to know that the Paraná River hasn't caused major problems after many years. You're truly blessed to be residing in a beautiful metropolis like that.
