Cada semana se toman el trabajo de hacer un ¨post¨: donde dan a conocer las publicaciones destacadas de la semana; Esta publicación hace más visible nuestros post, como todos sabemos, el apoyo a nuestras publicaciones se consiguen con la proyección de nuestros escritos, y que mejor manera de dar a conocer las publicaciones que un informe semanal. El trabajo que hacen nuestros amigos es muy importante y merece ser dado a conocer. Es la razón para que 15 % de la recaudación del post sea en beneficio de nuestra ¨ArchitectureDesignCommunity¨: Los que siguen mis post saben que soy un fanático de las edificaciones de época, y es lo que más me atrae de mi ciudad natal; Para aquellos que no saben, nací en un pequeña ciudad de ¨Argentina¨ llamada ¨Corrientes¨; Nuestra provincia convive con tres fronteras, lo que hace ideal para el ingreso de inmigrantes. Corrientes ha sido una ciudad que han escogido inmigrantes de todas partes del mundo, y han dado identidad y carácter a las edificaciones de época

It is the reason why 15% of the proceeds from the post benefit our ¨ArchitectureDesignCommunity¨: Those who follow my posts know that I am a fan of period buildings, and it is what most attracts me to my hometown; For those who don't know, I was born in a small town in ¨Argentina¨ called ¨Corrientes¨; Our province coexists with three borders, which makes it ideal for the entry of immigrants. Corrientes has been a city chosen by immigrants from all over the world, and they have given identity and character to the period buildings.
Cuando caminas por las calles céntrica de la ciudad, es imposible no apreciar las viejas construcciones que se destacan por el decorado de sus fachadas; Todo aquel que sea observador y sepa apreciar el trabajo arquitectónico de época, no puede desaprovechar una oportunidad como la que brinda los edificios antiguos de mi ciudad. Corrientes se caracteriza por ser la ciudad escogida por inmigrantes que escaparon de su país de origen de las diferentes guerras que se libraron, en nuestra ciudad encontraron la tranquilidad que ansiaban para vivir, y en compensación nos han regalado sus conocimientos de arquitectura, y se puede apreciar en los frentes de los edificios. En esta oportunidad les quiero enseñar dos edificaciones que no podrás dejar de ver si caminas por el casco histórico de ¨Corrientes¨. Edificaciones creadas en mamposterías y con excelente estado de terminación, una verdadera reliquia de las edificaciones de época

Corrientes is characterized by being the city chosen by immigrants who escaped from their country of origin from the different wars that were waged, in our city they found the tranquility they longed for to live, and in compensation they have given us their knowledge of architecture, and you can see on the fronts of buildings. This time I want to show you two buildings that you will not be able to miss if you walk through the historic center of ¨Corrientes¨. Buildings created in masonry and with an excellent state of completion, a true relic of period buildings
El primer edificio se trata de una imponente edificación que abarca más de media manzana; Una edificación que guarda mucha historia, en el lugar funciona un enorme colegio y una iglesia muy conocida de la ciudad; Cuando los primeros ¨salesianos¨ se hospedaron en nuestra ciudad, una mujer dono parte de sus tierra para la construcción de una pequeña capillita para la oración. El edificio está en pie hace más de setenta años, pero comenzó siendo una edificación muy pequeña hace más de cien años y fue creciendo con el correr de los años, hasta convertirse en una imponente edificación estilo colonial; Es el estilo del campanario y las tejas de época que identifica su estilo de construcción. El ingeniero que estuvo a cargo de la construcción también se ocupó de construir otras iglesias muy significativa de nuestra provincia

The first building is an imposing building that covers more than half a block; A building that keeps a lot of history, in the place there is a huge school and a well-known church in the city; When the first "Salesians" stayed in our city, a woman donated part of her land for the construction of a small chapel for prayer. The building has been standing for more than seventy years, but it began as a very small building more than one hundred years ago and grew over the years, until it became an imposing colonial-style building; It is the style of the bell tower and the vintage tiles that identifies its style of construction. The engineer who was in charge of the construction was also in charge of building other very significant churches in our province
Esta segunda construcción no tiene tanta historia como la anterior, lo que cautivo mi atención es la gran cantidad de detalles que tiene su fachada; Como les he dicho en otras oportunidades no tengo conocimiento técnicos de estilo de construcción, pero este me hace suponer que se trata de un estilo italiano. Lo primero que llama mi atención son los tres ingresos que tiene la propiedad, el cuarto ingreso deja ver que se trata de una modificación al edificio para convertirlo en un local comercial, es decir, no es parte de la construcción original. El ingreso principal de la propiedad es la enorme puerta verde que culmina con una banderola, ahora reemplazada por mampostería moderna, este acceso lleva a toda la dependencia del interior de la planta baja; El segundo acceso claramente lleva a las dependencias del primer piso; La enorme puerta construida con hierro forjado es el tercer acceso a la propiedad, este lleva al patio y los jardines traseros

This second construction does not have as much history as the previous one, what captivated my attention is the great amount of details that its facade has; As I have told you on other occasions, I have no technical knowledge of construction style, but this one makes me suppose that it is an Italian style. The first thing that catches my attention is the three entrances that the property has, the fourth entrance shows that it is a modification to the building to turn it into a commercial space, that is, it is not part of the original construction. The main entrance of the property is the huge green door that culminates with a banderole, now replaced by modern masonry, this access leads to the entire dependency of the interior of the ground floor; The second entrance clearly leads to the first floor outbuildings; The huge gate built with wrought iron is the third access to the property, this leads to the patio and the rear gardens
Esta es una edificación muy peculiar, y por su estilo de construcción, y las formas de acceso, hace suponer que se trataba de una propiedad que funcionaba como una especie de inquilinatos; Eso explica los diferentes puntos de ingresos a la propiedad, de no ser así, no tiene una aplicación lógica a esta curiosa construcción. This is a very peculiar building, and due to its construction style, and the forms of access, it suggests that it was a property that functioned as a kind of tenements; That explains the different points of income to the property, if not, it does not have a logical application to this curious construction. Another explanation for this novel construction is that it was an immigrant house with several owners, each family accessed through different income points
Los diferentes ingresos a la propiedad es un gran un interrogante, pero no es lo más llamativo de la construcción, son sus detalles de manufacturas que hacen a la propiedad única e inigualable; Cada detalle de la fachada deja ver el profesionalismo de los arquitectos que estuvieron a cargo de la obra, y el gran amor que pusieron los albañiles en cada detalle de la construcción. Es una verdadera pena que una edificación tan hermosa este tan descuidada; Creo que es una falencia del municipio, son quienes deberían intimar a los propietarios a mantener el edificio en excelente estado de conservación; Estas edificaciones son estructuras históricas, que con solo verlas cuentan una historia, y deberían ser conservadas como monumentos históricos, patrimonio de la humanidad. The different incomes to the property is a big question, but it is not the most striking thing about the construction, it is its manufacturing details that make the property unique and incomparable; Every detail of the facade reveals the professionalism of the architects who were in charge of the work, and the great love that the masons put into every detail of the construction. It is a real pity that such a beautiful building is so neglected; I think it is a shortcoming of the municipality, they are the ones who should instruct the owners to keep the building in an excellent state of conservation; These buildings are historical structures, that just by looking at them tell a story, and should be preserved as historical monuments, a world heritage site. You are very right when you say that these immigrants have given us their knowledge of architecture. It is truly a luxury and a visual delicacy to be able to admire this type of structures. Lo que se aprecia en mi ciudad, se aprecia en las mayorías de las provincias argentinas, sobre todo allí en Buenos Aires, que es unas de las ciudades que mas inmigrantes conviven y han dejado su estilo plasmado en las construcciones
