Hace algunos días hemos hecho la última cosechas de las plantas de girasol y me comprometí con todos en darles a conocer el siguiente paso; También les había enseñado una especie de plagas que se apoderaron de las plantas, y no es bueno que estas plantas infestadas sigan en el huerto; Estamos corriendo el riesgo que las plagas se pasen a otras plantas de la huerta

A few days ago we made the last harvest of the sunflower plants and I made a commitment to everyone to let them know the next step; He had also taught them a kind of pests that took over the plants, and it is not good that these infested plants are still in the garden; We are running the risk that pests will spread to other plants in the garden


Vamos a ir cortando con mucho cuidado los tallos de las plantas y automáticamente las vamos a colocar en bolsas para no dar tiempo a las plagas que se trasladen a otras plantas; Este trabajo es esencial para evitar que las plagas se continuum propagándose


We will carefully cut the stems of the plants and automatically place them in bags so as not to allow pests time to move to other plants; This work is essential to prevent pests from continuing to spread


Una vez que hayamos retirado desde la raíz a las plantas vamos a venir a erradicar las hierbas y preparar el terreno para una nueva siembra; Eso es lo buen de haber sembrado temprano, nos va a permitir hacer una cuarta siembra

Estamos muy felices de que este año vamos a procesar nuestra propia aceite de girasol; Es una de las razones de volver a sembrar; Además de que los insectos se vean tentado a quedarse en el hurto para polinizar las plantas; Si lo que lees te causa curiosidad, solo debes ver el video

I miss it, @jlufer!
There is a vacant lot close to home that used to be planted with sunflowers.
They are now developing it into an area for new homes.
