La arquitectura puede estar presente de muchas manera en la construcción, mantenimiento o embellecimiento de una ciudad; La arquitectura no solo se trata de construir edificios, se trata de hacer vínculos con las personas y mejorar la calidad de vida de ellas; El arquitecto tiene una misión muy importante, lograr a través de sus construcciones o creaciones la satisfacción y bienestar de las personas o de los ciudadanos. Aquellos que siguen mis post recordaran que les había comentado que mi ciudad conviven construcciones viejas en perfecta armonía con edificaciones actualizadas; En realidad, en esta mezcla de épocas y estilo radica la hermosura de mi tierra. Vivo en una de las ciudades de menos recurso económico de la ¨Argentina¨; Históricamente hemos pasado un malestar económico, la falta de dinero hizo que hace unos cuarenta años las edificaciones, sobre todo las de época, no se les pueda dar mantenimiento; Se pueden imaginar el mal aspecto que tenía mi ciudad; Por esta razón surge una unión entre profesionales de la salud, artistas y arquitectos, con la misión de recuperar los frentes de las viejas edificaciones en mal estado. La idea principal era embellecer la ciudad con grandes murales. Los arquitectos se ocupaban de las reparaciones de las edificaciones, los artistas de la creación de los murales, y los profesionales de los materiales para dicha construcciones

Those who follow my post will remember that I had told them that my city coexists with old buildings in perfect harmony with updated buildings; In reality, in this mixture of times and style lies the beauty of my land. I live in one of the cities with the least economic resources in ¨Argentina¨; Historically we have experienced an economic malaise, the lack of money meant that some forty years ago the buildings, especially those of the period, cannot be maintained; You can imagine how bad my city looked; For this reason, a union arises between health professionals, artists and architects, with the mission of recovering the fronts of the old buildings in poor condition. The main idea was to beautify the city with large murals. The architects were in charge of the repairs of the buildings, the artists of the creation of the murals, and the professionals of the materials for said constructions
Eran tantas las edificaciones que requerían mantenimiento, que la ciudad se llenó de murales, así surge el nombre que hoy tiene mi ciudad; (¨Corrientes¨ la ¨ciudad¨ de los ¨murales¨) La arquitectura fue más allá de la reparación de los frentes de los edificios, los arquitectos pusieron manos en la construcción de los murales; Estos murales no son pintados; Todas estas imágenes que pueden observar tienen relieves y texturas creadas con mamposterías y retazos de obras; Muchas de estas imágenes están formadas desde la unión de pequeños trozos de cerámicas o diferentes trozos de materiales de la construcción

The wonderful thing about these murals is that they were created with scrap material; The architecture contributed its experience in recycling construction materials. This was a demonstration by architects and artists, that great things could be done without the need for a lot of money. Está claro que la arquitectura no solo se trata de crear edificaciones, también hacen espacios recreativos que mejoran la calidad emocional de las personas. Hoy mi ciudad tiene una especial atracción, estos murales nos han hecho conocidos en muchas partes del mundo, de cada rincón del mundo nos visitan para ver el arte callejero de la ciudad; Incluso el cine mundial tiene una cita obligada cada año con nuestra ciudad. Estas son las cosas que hacen que amemos a nuestra ciudad, y a los murales que nos representan en el mundo. Hello, friend @jlufer. Architecture is certainly a broad subject. And it could probably take a lifetime to cover everything under its roof. Fundamentally, it's all about the physical universe that surrounds us, most especially, the built environments that make up our great planet. There are plenty of beautiful creations everywhere, and one of the best defining elements that simply make our lives more enjoyable are the outdoor artworks like sculptures, artistic graffiti, and related murals.
In fact, your distinguished city is truly blessed with several of these stunning walls of art. Walking through your neighborhood's streets, sidewalks, and alleys would be like passing through a cultural museum filled with these gorgeous paintings. Likewise, it's also an ingenious way of revitalizing dilapidated, old, and damaged buildings into brand new masterpieces. Thank you so much for sharing your country's remarkable treasures of architecture with the world. Cheers!
These things you mention, we talk often with my wife, about how blessed we are to live in a city like this, many times we are sad because there are people who do not know how to appreciate what we have
