En nuestra última caminata con mi esposa decidimos explorar una zona del predio por el que antes nunca había pasado, lo hicimos porque un árbol de¨paraíso¨: llamo nuestra atención, en sí no fue el árbol, lo que llamo mi atención es una espesura en una de sus ramas, de cerca puede observar que las hojas eran diferentes a las del árbol, después de un rato de observación llegue a la conclusión que se trata de una planta parasito que se alojó en sus ramas

En mi ciudad de ¨Corrientes-Argentina¨ se la conoce con el nombre ¨flor¨de la ¨pasión¨, el origen del nombre está relacionado a la ¨fe¨ ¨cristiana¨ y a sus frutos los llamamos ¨mburucuyá¨: si bien son plantas que crecen de manera silvestres, hay muchas personas que lo siembran por tratarse de una planta que ornamenta muy bien cualquier espacio del jardín. Es una pena no haber encontrado un pimpollo abierto en flor, de ser así, no hubiera tenido la necesidad de usar una imagen libre de ¨derecho¨ de ¨autor¨. Is this the tree, you call paraíso? Never seen and never heard of it 🤔 The Passiflora... I didn't know anything about it either. I saw it once in my country. It was planted as a decoration in a garden of a house on the coast. Nowhere else. Because this plant is not native at all...

También en España se conoce la flor de la "passiflora" como la "flor de la pasión". En Venezuela se conoce como "parchita", ya que así llamamos a sus frutos, que son muy apreciados por su uso en jugos, cocteles y postres. Es un cítrico por excelencia, con alto contenido de vitamina C.
Creo que no existe un venezolano a quien no le guste la parchita Y aunque la planta puede crecer en forma silvestre, principalmente se cultiva y vende la fruta al natural o en productos artesanales o de fábrica.
Me maravilla que se de en lugares fríos.
