No sé cómo hacen ustedes, en lo particular encuentro la ¨estabilidad¨ ¨emocional¨ caminando en senderos naturales. Aunque la caminata se ha hecho un poco extensa, ya que caminamos hasta al estanque, disfrute mucho de lo que vi, puesto que me recordó bellos pasajes de mi niñez

Este año el clima a sido muy cambiante, pasamos de una sequía prolongada a algunas semanas lluviosas, ahora, y después de varias semanas, volvimos al clima seco; es lo que llamo mi atención al llegar al estanque, ver que todavía hay agua, lo que ha sido fantástico, porque mantiene con vida a estas plantas que requieren de mucha agua para desarrollarse. Ver estas plantas me trajeron recuerdos de la laguna del barrio en donde pase mi niñez, este tipo de planta cubría una zona del espejo de agua al que nadie concurría a nadar. Erróneamente yo pensaba que eran flores de camalote, ahora sé que se tratan de una planta llamada ¨Pontederia¨ ¨cordata¨: una planta conocida en muchas partes del mundo, y unas de sus condiciones de desarrollo es la abundancia de agua, hay muchas especies, y dependiendo de ellas, son el color de sus flores. Cuando visitábamos la laguna evitábamos acercarnos a ellas, ya que era muy común ver a las ¨abejas¨ haciendo el trabajo que ellas hacen, y si se sentían amenazadas te atacaban, y la verdad que no deseaba terminar con los ojos inflamados

Seeing these plants brought back memories of the neighborhood lagoon where I spent my childhood, this type of plant covered an area of the water mirror where no one went to swim. I mistakenly thought they were camalote flowers, now I know they are from a plant called ¨Pontederia¨ ¨cordata¨: a plant known in many parts of the world, and one of its development conditions is the abundance of water, there are many species, and depending on them, are the color of its flowers. When we visited the lagoon we avoided getting close to them, since it was very common to see the "bees" doing the work that they do, and if they felt threatened they would attack you, and the truth is that I did not want to end up with inflamed eyes
Otra hermosa planta floral que vi y me trajeron bellos recuerdos, es la planta de ¨Achira¨aunque es más conocida por su nombre científico ¨Canna¨¨glauca¨: En esta zona del mundo se siembra para ornamentar un gran espacio del jardín, ya que crece muy bien y cubre un gran espacio al desarrollarse. Mi madre tenía varias especies de estas plantas, y cada una de ellas tenía un color diferente en sus flores, era lo que más me gustaba del jardín de Mama.

Another beautiful floral plant that I saw and brought back beautiful memories, is the plant of ¨ Achira¨although it is better known by its scientific name ¨Canna¨¨glauca¨: In this area of the world it is planted to decorate a large space in the garden, since it grows very well and covers a great space to develop. No se imaginan la alegría que me causo ver la planta de ¨penacho¨conocida científicamente como ¨Celosia¨¨argentea¨: Esta es otras de esas plantas florales que me recuerdan mi niñez, en todos los jardines del barrio, era muy común ver a estas plantas, y al igual a las otras, dependiendo de la especie, varían los colores de sus flores. Las rojas son las más tradicionales, aunque he visto, amarillas y blanca. Una planta muy noble, ya que además de hermosa, tiene poderes curativos, y en algunos países es comestible. Cuando vi las fotografías de esas bellas plantas azuladas pensé que eran lupinos, tuve que ir a buscar en la wiki el nombre los nombres que mencionabas porque no las conocía. Efectivamente no eran lupinos aunque se parecen mucho.
Por supuesto las que yo conozco se encuentran en el Sur de nuestro país y ya son una especie invasiva que está colonizando muchos cursos de agua.
Adjunto una fotografía para que observes la similitud aunque estas cambian de color dependiendo de su madurez, generalmente terminan siendo azules como las que tu muestras. También hay otra planta bastante invasiva de color amarillo denominada retama que en primavera bordea las rutas patagónicas dando un bello entorno al camino, Solo son de primavera y una pequeña parte del verano, luego desaparecen hasta el siguiente año donde vuelven a florecer, ocupando cada año más espacio.
