Yes, but personally its just fun to engage for the fun, not for the recognition...
Courtesy in replying, something I don't accept easily in modern living is hanging on a phone waiting for someone to talk, being guided by some smart machine recorded massage.
Yes engaging is never done for recognition, inter acting with folk is to get to know each other.
Totally agree and in the reply, is the invitation to start a conversation and when you get that one worded response back which shuts down the whole process...eye roll...🙄...
So you can tell who's here for what when it's like that sometimes I think...

Chatty Cathy is fine, it is when receiving a meaningful response one feels the communication was well worthwhile.

And thats' one of the many reasons that O love the Hive and everyone on it (most..some...)- the conversations and the developing friendships, infact, I feel like I am more in tune with and have more real friends on here than IRL...
