Building My LEO Stake Regardless

avatar

A personal LEO Power goal for me for the year 2023 is to attain 20 000 LEO Power by year-end, without any pressure on myself but with the strong will to make it achievable.

20k LP goal is a stretch for me, I knew that from the onset as I am most reliant on the LEO I earn from both curation and author rewards and I also intend to buy intermittently which I have done twice this year.

For March I was looking forward to a 9k LEP Power, I am glad to be attaining that today on LPUD the 15th of March.

I have staked 318 LEO which takes me to a total of 9110 LEO Power, an achievement I am happy with, I probably could have exceeded 9100 LP if I hadn't been dipping into my crypto funds to take care of expenses which now leaves me less confident of attaining the 20k LP target I set for my self for the year.

LEO Power Up Day.png

I am not going to relent in building my LEO stake regardless of the circumstances, tough times are what makes or break us.

A tweet I saw recently said something along these lines;

If you are still in crypto despite all that has happened in 2022 to date without giving up you deserve to be successful.

Not quite the exact words but that was the message which I agree with, it has been over a year of a crypto roller-coaster, Bitcoin went on a bullish run yesterday and had me asking myself why is the cryptocurrency market messing with us this much, one day it is in red and the next day candles are green and you begin to wonder what is the cause of the pump.

So with 318 LEO staked today, I am happy for the continuous effort I make towards my LP growth.

Happy staking.

Thank you, Jackie, every growth bit by bit counts, that I have realized and taken advantage of around here.

Happy LPUD, how have you been?
Enjoy the rest of your midweek 🙂

You are welcome Joe 👋🏻😊 it works well around here.

I have been so busy… contacting movers for quotes, back and forwards emails with them.
Than contacting customs… trying to find a rental from abroad in another country where there is a housing crisis. Letting agents tell me they have between 50 and 100 people applying within 2 days on a new rental. How can I compete with that. Not giving up though.
Doing lots of research… paperwork etc etc hahaha 🤣 it all is taking my entire day.
Then getting ready for friends that will visit us next week. And we have to plan a 2 week trip driving (12 hours) down to England to help my in-laws. That will lose me 2 weeks.
Oh yeah… I started packing too. As I have not many weeks left before the move.
So doing my best. Somehow this seems more stress full than our last move. That one was planned and wanted. This was not expected and threw us off completely.
But enough ramblings hehehe 🤭

Hope your week has been good to you. Enjoy the weekend.

I can tell you have been busy, you are easily noticed around here when you are less active.

The last time I wrote about housing crises that were in Ireland, 50-100 rental applications within 2 days is a lot, wow crazy to know there are crises of such in other parts of the world.

I trust you are not going to give up because that isn't an option for winners, best of luck in finding rentals.

Doing lots of research… paperwork etc etc hahaha 🤣 it all is taking my entire day.

I can imagine even with me job hunting and doing content creation on Hive takes time.

It is going to be busy weeks ahead of you, I can imagine the stress of the unplanned move, but am sure it is going to be successful for you despite the challenges, stay optimistic and keep striving Jackie, it shall be well.

I have been job hunting but no response yet and I am going to keep at it.

Thanks and do have a good weekend.

Thank you so much Joe 😊

Hahaha guess the country I’m trying to get the rental in. Ireland. It’s our only option left.
No visas needed. So you know all about it then. Any tips?

Thanks a lot, nope… not giving up.

You know and understand me. It will get busier.
After we get back from the in-laws I only have 1,5 week to finish packing 😳
I’m planning for the movers to pick everything up 27 April. And then we move… early May. At least I stay, hubby has to go back for work until mid July 😔
I will do my best Joe, thanks for that!

Did you contact the connections you had made? If they know of something…
Good luck with finding a job. 🍀🍀🍀 let’s hope we both succeed in what we wish for.
Have a lovely evening. Enjoy the weekend ☀️

I don't know much except writing about it the housing crisis sometime last year. I know a Hiver @ablaze perhaps he can offer some tips for finding rental accommodation in Ireland.

Fingers crossed for you for accommodation over there.

Wow, it is a big year of tough change for us both. Take it a day at a time Jackie, and you will emerge victorious. It is also nice that you are in this with your hubby, you guys will be of support to each other and that is a beautiful thing.

I texted him twice already he just read without responding, he is Chinese, and they have a mind of their own, I had encounters with them in South Africa before leaving so am not surprised lol, you know they (Huawei) never paid me the money they owe me.

Thanks, Jackie, I will just keep sending my CV, hopefully, something will come up.

Keep well, Jackie.

Aha… ok, think I missed that post.
Thanks for thinking along with me Joe.

Crossing all fingers here hahaha thanks for your support!

It sure is a big change… after one we already had. We will come out stronger Joe. You included I mean.
One learns so much from situations like these.
I’m glad I am not alone this time. I have done it before alone, before I met hubby… it’s much harder. I know.

Such a shame, maybe he will, maybe he won’t.
Yes, crazy… they never paid you. I still would continue harassing them for it. Keep messaging. It’s so not fair. You worked hard for them Joe.

You are welcome 👋🏻😊
We both need a little bit of luck 🍀

Thanks, keep well too.
Good night for later…

I keep texting them every week, and same old story hopefully I keep my cool. We need a bit of luck to navigate this moment of our lives.

Do have a good night Jackie, I will be retiring to bed shortly over here.

How are ye. Let me know what type of property you're after and what county is the preference and I can ask around. Obviously can't promise anything, but you never know. I helped a Ukrainian family find a place recently in Galway. Daft.ie is the best website to use for rentals.

Hi @ablaze 👋🏻😊 back from the south? Hope you had a nice time.

At the moment we are in west Scotland / highlands and UK refused residency so we have to move out.
We are looking for a house, preferably detached. Countryside… about 20-30 minutes from larger town with amenities or city. Min. 3 bed… as we work from home.
We are looking in county Galway, Sligo, Roscommon and Leitrim. That circle.
I fully understand. But you never know. Any help is welcome 😎 what county are you in?
I never asked before… don’t know why.
Looking on daft everyday and have send so many emails out… I know it’s very hard at the moment.
I do get replies but mostly, it’s just gone.

Have a great evening 😎

Thanks @ablaze 👋🏻😊 so happy I managed from afar. I don’t move until May.
It’s right on the border of mayo and Galway county actually. About 30 minute drive above Galway city.
So you’re in the area than. Cool…
Have a good evening!

Happy LPUD and I think you will be able to stake more in the future. Hopefully dipping into your crypto fund will stop soon enough once your life gets back on track.
