rather the idea is for people to individually work on themselves in a bid to establish understanding, decency, leniency and create a win-win situation between the chain and its populace.
I am with you on this one, I believe whatever the intent behind an upvote or especially downvote a lot of consideration needs to be applied with one thing most at heart; the benefit of the ecosystem.

That's absolutely true, I believe those lines you've quoted coupled with what input, sums up everything, the interest of the chain is what matters the most.
