Christian Walk Sunday - Can God Use Me?

Do you think that you are not good enough for God to use you? The more we grow spiritually, the more we learn that we don't measure up to God's standards. Not measuring up isn't disappointing, but it makes us realize how precious God's gift of grace is and how much God loves us. We have been bought with a price.

If you are new to the scriptures, you might think that the people in the Bible were these perfect people who never did anything wrong. Did you know that Noah got drunk and ended up naked in his tent? Did you know that King David, a man after God's heart, had Bathseba's husband killed so he could marry her? Did you know that Moses exiled Egypt for a while because he killed an Egyptian?

Chances are you didn't. God uses imperfect people. If you feel God calling you, don't think you need to get your life straightened out first. Come to God, and he will (in his power) straighten up your life and use you.

No matter where you are in life, God loves you. He wants to redeem you. His son Jesus paid the ultimate price to restore fellowship with you.

Now is the time to come to God, and you will find him putting you in situations where God is using you.

Don't sin on purpose. Do your best. If you mess up, confess your sin to God, and he is quick to forgive.

There is only one perfect person who walked through this earth, and that was Jesus Christ. We are all imperfect, but that doesn't mean that God can't or doesn't want to use you.
