My experience as a classroom teacher
As a teacher in a classroom dealing with the students is not easy, some students will want to pissed you off, because they hates instructions and some likely go according to instructions, as of yesterday, I gave my students some take home test and this morning only few of them could come to school with the assignment I gave in class, the most surprising part is the class prefect is not also in school, when I asked the class if it was a plan that some of their classmates would not be in school today, the replied I got was that it is because today is friday and a big market day in town.
In my previous school where i teach it was true that students do not miss school on fridays, infact friday was even the best day of the school for them, each time I was in class, I will see the delightful smile on their faces because they like school on friday knowing it is weekend already where they would had time to play with their friends in the neighborhood, but in this my new school I think it is a lot different, students dislike school on fridays, It was true that last week friday it was the same thing also, only few students were in class and I didn't notice it that time, maybe because it was not long I came to be teaching in the school.
Managing people can so do problematic that is one of the experience I have had in my journey of teaching because a teacher is also a manager, he coordinate a class so well to receive the audience of his students, if paradventure an external body came to the school for inspection or anything, what the supervisor would look for first would be the peace of the classroom, that is if the teacher is able to get the attention of his students, if really he adopt the managerial skill of optimistic coordinating in the class.
When the previous school I was working as a teacher got folded because of the terrible incidents that keep coming up in the environment, my fellow colleagues recommend me to come teach in the school he was working and when I got to the school, the proprietor hired me and that was how I found myself in this school as a teacher, teaching can be so hectic at times, in term of arranging your notes of lessons and keeping up to date records of the pupils in the classrooms, because in the case of, if something bad should happen, your attention will be called to speak on what you know about the situation, maybe if it was your period in class that the incident took place.
